All you need is the technic launcher and set it to Always use Development build.
If you don't know how to do this go to options in the launcher then check Aways use Development build.
You also should have Skype not necessary but recommended, must be at least 16+

Hey my name is Cody and I can help you with the coder part. I am not a advanced coder but i can coder the weapons that you have an idea for. See my big problem is that I can't come up with ideas for mods but I know how to code. If you can come up with the damage and crafting recipe you want them to have I can code it for you. The thing is though I am currently in High School so I am only available from 3:50 to 11:00 on weekdays but all the time on weekends.
