You realize that saying "just spend more money" doesnt help, right? He asked for something $100 and under. This means he is looking for something $100 and under, not something thats $500. If someone asked for a gluten free cake recipe, you wouldnt reply "just make one with gluten. They taste better anyways", would you?
Okay, so I love the water, rain, and night shaders, but I just cant find myself liking the daytime shaders (light from the sun). Not that theyre bad, they're just not my cup of tea. I was wondering if it is somehow possible to disable the daytime shaders while keeping the other ones, or if theyre tied together? And if it is possible, how I would go about doing it? Thanks!
When Im playing SkyBlock at night time, you can see the sun texture in the void and its REALLY annoying. Is there any way to somehow disable the sun texture at night time, with mods or otherwise? (Im using SEUS Shaders and Optifine)
Just to be sure, both computers can play on normal servers correct? And they are both on the same internet connection/ connected to the same router? If yes, Id say its certainly something with your internet/firewall settings on the computers. Try disabling the anti-virus on both, and see if it works.
I would totally get that. As long as you optimize Windows 7 for performance (which is as simple as changing a few settings) and get Optifine, that should be able to run Minecraft no problem.

I will be finding time to join it with another resource pack that adds the realistic clouds.
That would be AWESOME!! The rain in Minecraft is the only rain I dont like, simply because of how artificial it looks and sounds. If I can get better sounds AND visuals, that would be AWESOME. If you dont mind, could you post a link for when it comes out? Thank you!
I can't believe in all this discussion no one mentioned Zombie Sieges. Because of these it's always a good idea to have a safe breeding stock of villagers to repopulate and keep any important trading villagers locked safely behind a counter where zombies can't attack them.
Wow... Im glad you told me.... Ill have to keep this in mind.
Sadly that mod wouldn't be compatible with any versions other than 1.6 even if the link was working and none of the alternatives listed on the mods thread support above 1.6 with the exception of NEI.
Drat. But, I asked this same question on GameFAQs, and someone told me to get this mod: http://forum.minecraftuser.jp/viewtopic.php?t=3835
However, I dont speak Japanese, but I was able to download and install it, I just cant figure out how to use it. Would anyone here help me out?
If you play vanilla and don't mind installing forge and whatever specific mods like this you want to take advantage of, there's a 1.9-compatible mod called Light Level Overlay that draws the light-level number on the top face of every block that has a light level (upright stairs and bottom slabs do not, but nothing can spawn on those blocks anyways). Green numbers mean hostile mobs can't ever spawn there except in special circumstances (ie, zombie sieges in villages, skeleton trap horses), red means hostiles can spawn.

You are running the mod on single player too, right? The mod has to be on the server and on single player to work.

You should go ask on PayPal's support forums

If you get Optifine it should be PLAYABLE... But your going on bare minimum here.

Awesome! Thank you!
Edit: Wait, it only says its for 1.6... Does it still work?
Edit again: I cant even try. The files just give me a 404 error.
