Already implemented are new complex terrain features, at least one new mob, some interesting new combat mechanics, a new lighting engine, and some experimental new gameplay ideas. To come is more interesting farming, bigger incentives to explore, and npc villages.

We ALL know minecraft is launching in november. But what we don't know is what will be included. We know Notch has mentioned a proper server list browser, and some fancy new mobs. But what about other stuff? SECRET stuff? Let's brainstorm what things Notch may bring into the beta to test with. Share your ideas, or stuff you think would be technologically possible for minecraft beta 1.8 that notch is keeping secret. Also, Newgame modes??? What happened totheZombie Siege
with the red moon and stuff? I'm sad to see that removed as "not being added". You think they will add it beyond November? I am happy to be an active member of this forum, and trying too take a part in the community! I am a newbie, so please take it easy!

Lol some people do... I would just think it would be nice! I mean, who wouldnt want a game that scares the crud out of you some times... IN 3D?? I think it would get a new prospective on the game. Like sometimes I play Pirates of the Caribbean online in 3D and I am amazed at how much depth it gives to the game. Minecraft looks somewhat flatter to me.

hey guys, I could not help but notice the 3D in minecraft runs like crud. I think Notch has the opportunity to enhance it in 1.8 I think minecraft would be a lot better if he fixed it up! Tell me what you think about the 3D mode on minecraft! If it's going to be a full game with 3D, it at least needs to be decent!

Build a fort, upgrade your tech.

im hoping 1.8 will be out before school starts back up! Please late July or early August!
