It sounds like you have memory leaks in one of the mods.
This is sadly a problem with mods in general. Any mod is an extension of Mojang's own code. Code can have bugs. For a mod pack, personal or downloaded, add the existing Minecraft code, Forge (when you can install it with the broken 1.6.4 installer on Mac), and the mods of often dozens of different developers and you stand a good chance of lagging.
Additionally, many mods add more processing needs, with block updates, tech blocks checking adjoining blocks and block networks, extra particle effects, extra entity buffs — even new gaming rigs can slow down.
Add in that a great many of the mods are perpetual betas with all the Minecraft updates.
Kind of a bummer, but my recommendation is backup your config files and saves, and try removing mods one at a time and play testing to find the offending code.
Would any mod accelerate the process of leaking and not be the one that is causing the leaking? (If that makes sense?)
I disabled Bibliocraft and everything seems to be working fine now. Or it's just taking considerably longer.
I felt like playing some modded Minecraft today, but I wasn't feeling the 1.5 outdated stuff, I wanted to play the new 1.6 stuff. So I made a forge profile and loaded about 40 mods with it. Everything loads fine without error and I can play a world no problem. But after about 2-5 minutes minecraft becomes super laggy and is unresponsive. I am not sure what is going on because it happens no matter what i try. I tried different ram allocations. Uninstalling a couple of mods and also checking in the modloader log to see if anything is the problem. I can not find a thing...
The only reoccurring thing that I see is once my allocated memory on the F3 screen go to 100% it starts to lag.
Is there something obvious I am missing? Or does that allocated memory mean something? That is one of the few things I don't understand on the F3 screen. So if anybody could explain it to me, or if there any help/tips anybody can give, It would be much appreciated. Please and thank you.
No, we looked into that. But I think we have it fixed now. We think it was maybe firezilla derping out on us yesterday, so we just updated the mod files cause apparently it only got a couple of the files or something. But it works now.

So me and a friend thought that this mod sounded really awesome and we wanted to add it to our private server. Upon doing so we noticed that the essence ore doesn't spawn in our existing world when loading new chunks. But it spawns it when we create a single player world. We thought that was extremely weird. So we just tried cheating it in and it says that the ore is not a item.. We do have the mod installed on our server as well, because we can cheat in other things from the mod.
So is there anything I am maybe missing, or something that I am unaware of?
Any feedback from anyone would be much appreciated.
