Just joking. "He" is used until the gender of the person is known because, lets face the facts, boys are a lot more common than girls on the internet. And there's a grammatical explanation behind all of it, but I'm not sure what it is exactly.
The grammatical explanation is that if gender is ambiguous, "he" is used. "They" is too awkward and society was still somewhat male-dominated when English came about.
I have muscular control of my ears and nose without moving anything else on my face. My eyes change color with what I wear and my mood(in variations of greens, blues and grays). Does that count?
