    Thanks for your reply. I had the latest version of Java, so I uninstalled it and re-installed it just in case. When that didn't work, I completely blew out Minecraft and The Aether (because I discovered neither were working anymore). I reinstalled vanilla Minecraft, and it worked just fine. Then I re-downloaded the Aether launcher, but I got the same error :/


    So, just to recap: I have the latest version of Java, vanilla Minecraft runs just fine, but the Aether II launcher still gives me that error message. Is this an incompatibility between the Aether II installer and Windows 10, or is something else going on that I'm not aware of?

    UPDATE: Just tried manually installing the mod--now everything works just fine. It's just the Aether II launcher that doesn't seem to be working.

    I just upgraded my computer from Windows 7 to Windows 10, and now I can't get the Aether II Launcher to work at all. Every time I click on it, it gives me this:



    I've done a Google search and searched this thread, but still have come up with no answer. Does anyone know what's going on?

    I'm coming up with a little problem, There doesn't appear to be a working recipe for canvas. I tried it with one hemp, as shown in the screenshot below. I also tried it with 6 hemp, in similar fashion to the old recipe with string. No go either way. Checked in my Crafting Guide, and this is what it showed me:

    It's an in-development version of the mod. Basically, we can install and play it on 1.7.10 now, but it's unfinished at this point in time. It may not have everything implemented yet, and could possibly have bugs. A link to the dev version download is in the OP :)

    Everything looks great so far. I am so loving the new tents UI, and how everything can now be contained in one tent and easily removable! Pretty slick ;)

    The new Camping Inventory is your best yet. That Lantern will come in extremely handy. The on-screen map is pretty cool too, though it could stand to be a little bigger. Will that be a setting in the config in the future?

    Great job so far, can't wait to see the finished product!

    The attached image shows the only results I got searching this thread for "battlegear." I did another search with the key words "battle gear" separately, and got 0 results. Note that the results I got, one being the same as the one you linked me, don't tell me anything about how to fix the problem. Hence why I asked. The only thing this search proves is that the question has been asked before.

    I've seen the post on page 154. It doesn't answer my question at all. The post links to a module (without any installation instructions) that, so far as I can tell, already appears to be a part of the mod. I've looked in the OP, I've read the Readme file to see if I could figure out how to install the module (note again that when I looked in the .jar, the module linked already appeared to be there), and I've done Google searches. I could not get it to work and do not understand it. Do not assume that I never bothered to look or try things out in the first place. I looked, I still had no answers, so rightfully I asked.

    A simple yes or no as to whether or not it will work in 1.6.4 is all I'm asking for at this point, and if yes then how do I install that module because none of the documentation is clear to me at all. I have no knowledge of Java and I am sorry to say I don't have the time to learn. Some of us play Minecraft in what little spare time we have and don't have the time to sit down and learn coding to get it to work, hence why we ask questions. Believe me, if I had more time to invest in it, I would.

    Disregard everything I've said. Found two different mods, one for 1.6.4 and one for 1.7.10, which give me exactly what I need. You no longer need to spend more time avoiding giving me answers than you would have with a simple response. Moot point.

    Unfortunately, I'm getting a crash in the latest dev version. I tried it once with all of my mods installed, then I tried it once without any mods installed, and I'm getting the same results either way.

    The crash happens when I click on the Camping Inventory button. It freezes, then the "Shutting down internal server" screen appears, then I get this funky screen:





    After that, it takes me to the Multiplayer screen, which is odd because I know I'm not playing Multiplayer O.o I couldn't find any crash logs pertaining to this (then again I'm not as familiar with 1.7.10 as I am with older versions, maybe I'm looking in the wrong place). Any idea what's up? I'm using Forge version 10.13.1.1217.

    Update: tried deleting the config to see if that would fix it. Still crashing :(

    My apologies. Not everyone has time to search through 100+ pages of a thread, however (and in my experience, the search function of this forum has never been helpful). I only re-asked because I had noticed you were posting answers to others, but had not responded to my question. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bothered. I understand if you've gotten the question a hundred times before and you're sick of hearing it, but twice in 100+ pages? That's not really enough to start getting snappy at people who ask.

    Sorry again. It was an honest question, and I just didn't appreciate the snappy response.

    ... Dude, really? He just said he'd have it ready in about two weeks. Not even four days have passed and you have to make a comment like that? Have some patience, man. He doesn't have to update, but he's taking the time to do it. If you're that impatient, code your own and see how much time it takes. People have lives outside of Minecraft, too.

    I'm having a problem with Mo' Creatures for 1.6.4. I set it in the config to NOT spawn Golems or Mini-Golems, and they're still spawning. I'm trying to build something underground and it's frustrating to go down there, have Mini-Golems spawn and move all my blocks around, destroying my build. Below is how I have it set in my config:

    I:maxchunk=0

    I:minspawn=0

    Not sure exactly what it is I'm missing? At first all I did was set canspawn to false. When that failed, I set the rest of the stuff to 0. I'm still getting Mini-Golems. Help?

    I second this. As a remedy, I don't keep NEI open all of the time--I only press "O" when I need it. Still, it's really annoying when I do have NEI open and I'm trying to do things around the camping inventory button.

    To be honest, I preferred how the camping inventory was accessed with a hotkey prior to the 2.0 updates. The problem with altering the vanilla inventory GUI is that it makes this mod incompatible with any other mod which does the same thing. For example, in 1.6.4, trying to open the inventory with both The Camping Mod 2.0 and Pixelmon installed would just crash Minecraft, making it unplayable. Which is a shame, because The Camping Mod really is the perfect companion mod to really turn all other mods into a real adventure--especially mods such as Pixelmon and The Aether II.

    That being said, the 1.7 dev version is a HUGE improvement over the 1.6 versions because the button no longer interferes directly with the inventory GUI, so it works with Pixelmon now. The problem is that I'm not sure it would work with a mod like the Aether II (assuming it updates to 1.7), because it does something very similar with its inventory buttons. I hate to beat a dead horse, especially since the 1.7 dev version already seems to improve so much, but going back to using a hotkey to access the camping inventory might not be a bad idea.
