Hey. So i'm looking for some kind of mod that stays fairly vanilla but adds some little skill tweaks. My server has been getting a bit board of normal vanilla and were wondering if we could add ore miner or tree cutter mods to the server. I feel like if it was earned it would be easier for me to accept them into our server. So if they were able to chose a class or work towards skills that allowed them to get similar skills that would be better for me. for example, If you want to cut down a whole tree in one go, then start putting experience into becoming a lumber jack, or if you want to clear out a bunch of stone at once, then put experience into the miner class. Something like that? Is there any thing like that at all? I looked up some stuff but they all seem to be magic related. and that is going too far away from vanilla for me.

How did you hear about The Sanctuary SMP community?: These forums. I was looking for a hermitcraft like server, but this one seems interesting. not sure how much it is like hermitcraft but from what I read it sounded nice.
What is your favorite/preferred base/building style? I really like community builds mostly. I tend to start making some kind of community build and then just living there. I have tried to make bases before but they usually end up being farms instead. Most likely a villager farm. But i have lived in a zoo before where everyone was able to make an exhibit at my "base". lol
What aspect of vanilla gameplay draws you towards SMP? Community mostly. Like i said, my base mostly becomes a community build of some kind. lol.
Do you have any experience with Minecraft communities? Yes. I ran and still am currently running a server. but it's slowed down a lot and everyone has decided to take a brake. I wasn't ready to take a brake though so i figured I'd go join a server for now.
Outside of Minecraft, what kinds of activities/hobbies do you enjoy? I like to DnD, hand out with family, play animal crossing, work, and watch youtube. lol

What's your inspiration for building? Mostly Hermitcraft. I ran a server that had shops and a spawn hub that was linked to a nether hub. Then all our basses were connected to the nether hub. A lot of that all came from hermitcraft.

Why you would like to join: I ran my own hermitcraft like server for over a year and now I just don't have enough time to run it any more. So, I let it go and am now looking to join one instead.
Redstone level (1-25 1 being no redstone capabilities, 25 being super great at redstone.): maybe a 20? I'm fairly decent with redstone. It might not always be the simplest way to do it, but my contraptions and farms work.
What you are good @ on minecraft: Just about everything but pvp. lol I'm good at builds mostly. I'm really good at setting up events: like tag, hermit-challenges, scavenger hunts, casinos, zoos, holiday events, ect. I am also good at redstone, end busting, dragon killing, spoofing the Wither fight (No way i'm killing that thing with out spoofing it), making hubs/shops/builds, I'm really good at Villagers/trading, running a shop/stocking it, and much more.
Building Level (1-10, 10 being the best.): I'd say I'm about an 8? I'm not Scar or Grian, but I'm not bad.

This is an odd one and I can't find any answers on it. I have the mod pack, one person sleep from Xisumavoid, on my server. and it works great and I've had it for a long time. But just recently for some reason, now it doesn't tell us who slept last. We like to battle over who sleeps and even have competition on it some times, so losing this was really sad. Not sure what changed or why it's not telling us any more. Is there anyone out there that is having this issue or know how to fix it? thank you for you time and feedback.
The only thing villagers need to make babies is an unoccupied bed and food. So, one extra bed more than the number of villagers. they have to be able to touch each other. and having at least one block above their head will help them to do their little 'dance'. I always give them a crap ton of bread. but they also will only produce a baby at a certain time of day. They all have schedules. https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Villager#Schedules
If this doesn't help then having a bell around them might help or work stations of some kind? It might push them into their routine so they will breed.
Doors have nothing to do with the villagers any more. That was in the older Minecraft versions.
This is a 3rd party, 24/7, survival server, based on Hermitcraft. Currently we are a group of adults, and looking for other people that love Minecraft to join us; ages 21+ is recommended as voice chat is not moderated. Build your base, build a shop to sell items or goods, build or play a game in the gaming district, join in on some community builds, and have fun playing Minecraft with a group of chill people.
We are a server run by a 3rd party call CubedHost. We pay a fee of about $13.00 a month to run the server all day and all night. No payment is required to join, but we do have a donation section on our Discord if you would like to contribute to our server. Donations are not required. We go through PayPal to make it easy. We do require you to join our Discord channel so you can stay up to date on everything happening on the server. Right now we are payed up until Febuary of 2021, so no immediate donations are needed. No one is ever required to donate. You do not get any perks for donating; it simply helps the server stay running. We only want to play together with people who are nice and follow the rules.
We do have some resource and data packs installed on the server from Xisumavoide's site here https://vanillatweaks.net/. More packs maybe be added in the future, but we always vote before removing or adding anything. We try to keep the game vanilla, but add a few tweaks to keep it interesting. Some of the packs we have are player heads drop when killed by other players, traveling merchant also sells mini blocks, one person sleeps and it becomes day no matter how many others are on, and some other useful ones like that. The rest will be on the Discord channel, so you may look through them if you are accepted.
This server is loosely based off Hermitcraft. If you have ever watched a Hermitcraft video on YouTube you will know how this server works. We have a spawn area where you start and the shopping district is not too far away. We ask that you try to not build too close to spawn because it can grow pretty fast, and soon your build will be engulfed in shops and other builds. Then we have some community areas where we will all be working together. We have a town, a zoo, the gaming district, and probably a few other projects around U.S. holidays. (Let us know if you celebrate other holidays and want to do an event)!
All in all we are a group of people looking for others to come have fun on a survival server. Below are the rules of the server. Please read them and make sure you know them well.
Rules for the Server
1. NO DUPLICATION OR XRAYING EVER! You will instantly be banned from the server. So please, just do not do it.
2. The Wither is only allowed to be summoned in The End. (NO EXCEPTIONS) We have to many builds and if someone slips ups just a little, then the wither will be on the loose and destroy a lot of things. If you need help defeating it just ask. There are many that will be glad to help you out. It is just easier if everyone summons him in the end so it does not cause any problems.
3. Please ask before using someone else's farms or any of their builds.
4. No stealing other's items. If you need something please look in the shopping area to buy it, or ask for assistance.
5. Before making a build make sure you have enough room and are not going to bump into someone else's build. Be respectful and mindful of your surroundings and neighbors.
6. The Shopping Area is a free market; meaning you can sell whatever you want. It does not matter if someone is already selling it. You may sell the same item they are selling, for whatever you want; diamonds, gold, iron, etc. Also you can sell it for more or less of what the other person is selling it for. May the best prices win!
7. The Gaming Area is for anyone to build any kind of game they might have in mind. You make the rules to your game. Once again, just be aware of your surroundings before you build your game. Please ask to play someone's game if there are not clear rules, or signs saying you can play without the builder being present.
8. If you are unsure of anything; just ask. Do not be afraid to simply ask if you are unsure if you are allowed to use something, or build somewhere, or have any questions.
9. Please use a sign or and outline to show that you are building in an area. This way no one will take a spot that you planned to build in later. First come first serve. (The spawn area is always off limits though unless given permission to build there.)
10. Please have a turn off switch to any of your farms that are redstone heavy. If you cannot make a turn off switch put the farm in a place that the chunks will be unloaded when it is not in use. That way it will not be running when you are not in the area and potentially lagging the server. We want everyone to be able to enjoy their time online.
