    I'll keep your suggestions in mind! but the editing would have to be at the consent of the others on the server... hmmmm but at least it's something.

    well, that'll work for me - but I don't want to make everyone on our server have to use a specific texture pack just so my castle looks good...

    I have been working on a castle for ages... it's almost done (ok, it won't ever be but that's not the issue of the moment)... I just installed a mod that shows me what biome I'm in, and as I was working I suddenly realized that pieces of my castle are swamp. At first I didn't care - then I remembered that swamps are now - Dark.

    So, I took screenshots of my garden... 1.8.1 and 1.9 prerelease 2. You can guess the outcome... I know I can't change the biome - but is there a way to turn off the dark in the swamp??
