Sorry for the very late reply everyone!
I haven't been online here for too long... :/
I will most likely not update this launcher, but fear not! As I am handing over the project to someone else right now.
I hope that the new dev will have an updated version of this ASAP, as I get quite some requests for one with MC 1.6 being out.
I for myself will try one last time to dig into my code once again... but do not count to much on it.
I tried this, it lets me connect to Minecraft.net and login and stuff, but it wont let me connect to any servers same as " -Dhttp.proxyHost=***.***.**.*** -Dhttp.proxyPort=8080 -Dhttps.proxyHost==***.***.**.*** -Dhttps.proxyPort=8080 -DsocksProxyHost==***.***.**.*** -DsocksProxyPort=8080 -Dproxy.User=Domain\user-Dhttp.proxyPassword=************ -Dhttps.proxyPassword=************ -Xmx800m -jar Minecraft.exe"
Essentially my code does not much more than setting these parameters.
Sadly the only advice I can give to you is to fiddle around with different settings.
Trial-n-Error solved it for the most people at some point. I wish I could help you more.
I will try to continue working on the project in a few days. I just have some personal stuff to handle before.
It wont be easy, but I hope I can understand the code I wrote again
Step 1: Setting up an absolutely unnecessary proxy at my home, so I can start working again.
Hey everyone!
I'm very sorry for the long time I have not been online here.
I have two things to say:
1) Is it discontinued? Will it work with future versions of Minecraft?
MinecraftProxy is indeed somewhat discontinued. I just do not have the required environment to test it and drive on with development.
It should work fine with Minecraft 1.2.3, but I will try to inject my code into the updated original Launcher as fast as possible.
But I just can't test if it still works then.
2) Question: Is somebody out there, who is willing to take over the project?
I would love to see MCProxy continued and improved, so I am now looking for someone to take my source files and officially continue MCProxy. If you are willing to continue development, or you know someone who could... please tell me!
I just downloaded and am using your tool, works greats!
Also here's $5 for you wedding, I'm getting married to and am halfway through renovating so i can appreciate your situation. Best wishes to you and your misses

Thanks for the donation, but I just let your money be transfered back, because my fiance and I broke up months ago... I just did not visit the forum for a long long time, so I had not changed it in the post.
i want to thank you:
not even a week passed by, and MinecraftProxy has already been downloaded 100 times! :biggrin.gif:
spread the word if it helped you.

Fighter = Kämpfer in German. You missed the "f" there.

I dont know how you configured MinecraftProxy,
but I had a similar problem at first.
Solution for me was to uncheck the SOCKS-Checkbox.
Tell me if it works for you too.

I am not able to do that at the moment.
But I will post the link here as soon as possible.

Have you used it like you would the normal launcher?
Could you post a screenshot of how you set up your MinecraftProxy config screen?

it turned out that he had not added Java to the PATH system variable.
