The Realms of War server is a medieval, towny, survival, and adventure server with roleplay themes. Having no whitelist, anyone can join, but we hope that players will build beautiful creations all the same. One can join a town and build great medieval fantasy builds to add to the 100% custom (worldpainted) map. One can forge alliances and conquer the darkest dungeon for custom loot, or one can make enemies, and battle out their differences to claim greatness on the battlefield.

Explore, conquer, adventure, battle, rule, and make your mark on history in the Realms of War.

The Realms of War survival server has been in the making for over a year. In the last weeks, we have expanded the server to many outlets in order to acquire more players and builders. Now that the server is open, it is crucial that we gain players who can build great creations as well as adventure the custom map.

In addition, we would like to form a build team, in order to build beautiful cities on our beautiful worldpainted map. (We will also take staff if you have special skills)
Just log on the server and begin your adventure! You can ask me in game to test you for build team if that is the reason you joined.

    Hope to see you in-game.

posted a message on Im looking for a leaf decay plugin
If anyone still ever needs help with this... you can use non-decaying leaf block values. For example, using world edit, //set 18:12 is the non decaying oak leaf variant.

Ok I love the new shaders pack! It looks marvelous, especially the reflections!
One thing i just noticed, however, the moon reflection is always the same, as is the light source from the moon. Meaning, even when there is no moon in the sky, the light and reflection of a full moon is there. Is this fixable?

Is there a shaders mod for 1.7.9/1.7.10 yet? I have looked multiple times and it doesn't seem like there is... Does anyone know where I can get it if there is?

posted a message on Tall grass, Tall grass everywhere. World Painter Help!
Go to your own world painter program, go to file > import > minecraft map > select your server map level.dat
Then see what you can do from there...

I get an error when I do this, but I am assuming that is because I am on a mac -_-
If this doesn't work for you... you may actually have to remove the grass patches by hand (with world painter)
[In my opinion, the grass doesn't actually look that bad, just adds more detail and texture to the land]<Or use the mcedit filter everyone was suggesting> yup.

    Quote from redekens

that's normal. use a solid brush at max intensity to remove it.

Well... the custom layers were previously able to be removed by non-solid brushes.... I don't see any purpose for that being removed.

    I believe I have found a bug:
Whenever I paint a custom object layer such as a forest, it paints on normally, but when erased, it is only partially removed, especially when using custom brush shapes to paint the custom layer.

I have been using worldpainter for some time now and have used custom trees before; however, these trees never had roots. I have downloaded a new file of trees and these all have roots to fill in spaces that may be left under the trees on mountainous terrain... For some reason which I cannot find the lowest point of the roots are placed right on the surface instead of being placed underground as they should be. Can you suggest a solution please?
