Thanks, the only thing I did with Cobblestone Brick was that I joined the texture of the brick with the texture of cobblestone. I am not so good with texturing, so i need to make simple things. =D
I definitely like the idea of having a desk... although at current... it's not really very desk-ish looking. Still, quite a good place to start! I'll keep an eye on this and see how it progresses.
Out of curiosity... does the desk function as storage?
Actually no, but i pretend do make something like Risugami's shelves. Or you can put paper in there and write something, ill think in something, but ill try to make something with the desk.
Maybe you could follow in the footsteps of the bed, and make it sit on legs (instead of being a fully enclosed block)? Just to follow the recipe a little more closely =P
All in all, not a bad first mod =D

This mod add two block to you minecraft.
The Desk:
This block does nothing, its like lapiz lazuli block and other blocks. *Now desks have legs*
The Cobblestone Brick:
This block act like a real brick, but is hard to find some clay so you can make a brick with Smoth Brick (can be make smelting stone).
