My Review of the server. First of all joining in the server you get welcome by the wonderful community. If you have any questions while your in-game the staff is usually helpful unless they are busy working on something but rather than that a normal player will tell you, or someone will say read the wiki because the wiki is amazing, its to date with things they have. Also great tool for learning the balanced spells! The spells are wonderful! Easy to learn and easy to use! A great thing on which a lot of people like are the arena and dungeons! Arena is fantastic especially with that tournament they have going. Dungeons, holy sh*t amazing! I never seen something so great! Last dungeon I saw on a server was dark places with mob spawners... boring! Have a mentioned theirs Factions? Their are two factions, to make it easy, put it this way Good and Evil! Theirs a lore behind all this and its sure one hell of a great one! Theirs also quests to do! The quests work out well even though theirs not much sense its still in 'Beta' mode. If you were a bit on the fence on joining this server or not! Join it! I highly suggest it! Just remember this server is still in 'Beta' so dont expect too much. But these guys are doing an amazing job on releasing new content! If your worried about lag well their is none! If you lag than its going to be your client not the server.

The Mystic Realm is now officially released from here on out we will release new regions, spells, battlegrounds, and other features as regularly as possible. I expect about one major patch every month at the least.
So you may be wondering what all has changed since closed beta, so here is a quick rundown of how things work and what you should expect when you log in to the server.
Choosing your faction � When you first login you will be at the faction choosing region where you will pick your faction (Ascended or Forsaken). **Warning** This will not be like closed beta where we will be lenient about changing your faction. Once you pick, that's it, unless you donate for a faction change. So make sure you choose the right one! If you bring friends, make sure they know which one to pick. There is no leniency with this, and unfortunately we cannot help you if you mess this up.
Starting regions � After you choose your faction you will be ported to your respective faction capital city. You will talk with the Recruiter and begin a short quest chain that will end up leading you out into the main starting area for your faction. The Ascended will navigate through various surrounding floating islands and the Forsaken will journey through the burning netherrack region. You will complete various quests which will result in you earning some good initial gold, items, a few spells, as well as general information about the server.
Spells � As mentioned above, we are launching with the three main spells fireball, lightning, and prayer. More spells will be released very shortly after launch when we begin to release future regions around the world in our progression-style of map. Spells can be obtained through quest chains, varying in length and difficulty. The fireball spell can be learned shortly after joining the server, as it is one of the first quest chains a player completes. We are also making previews of future spells available for donation credit. You can see these special spell bundles in the donation shop. The Fields of War � This is the intermediate area between the Forsaken and Ascended regions. PvP is enabled here, and it is intended to be a warzone for the two factions to battle it out. Also located here are two of our more advanced dungeons, Trailblazer and the Sewers. It is recommended that you stash your cash before venturing here! You don't want to lose it to your enemy faction!
Quests � Quests will range in difficulty from beginner to near impossible. They will be used as the method of teaching spells as well. For a description about how quests work, check out the wiki ( http://mysticrealms.net/wiki ).
Arenas � We have 1v1 arenas live right now. To join, simply type "/pa [arena name]". We have 4 arenas setup right now, which you can see using "/help arena". The 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5 arenas will be out very soon after we fix an issue with them. A few weeks after release we will launch the very first arena season, with donation benefit prizes and special titles for the winners of each category.
Dungeons � We are launching with all of the dungeons we had in closed beta, and some new ones as well! We will launch with a total of five dungeons ranging in difficulty from easy to extremely difficult. One of the newest dungeons includes a hard mode as well, and is a very involved dungeon! The dungeon room is accessible via portal in the main cities and two new dungeons are located in different spots in the Fields of War. However, keep in mind that dungeon entrances will likely be spread out into new regions when they are released in future patches. For a list of the dungeons, and all dungeon commands check out the official wiki ( http://mysticrealms.net/wiki ) or type /help dungeons in game!.
Guilds � Guilds themselves are the same as in beta. For those who missed out, we have a custom plugin designed to put control of guilds in the player's hands. Guild charters cost 10 gold. A full list of guild commands is located on the wiki ( http://mysticrealms.net/wiki ).
Vendors and other general features � There are vendors in the main cities that sell food, armor, weapons, potions and spell reagents. Reagents may also be farmed off of mobs in certain mob regions around the world. Blacksmiths will be located in main cities and villages with the ability to repair items. In the main cities there will be portals to the donation shop, the dungeon room, and to any village you have unlocked (you unlock these portals by completing the quest that sends you to the village from the previous village).
Donations � I will not list every donation benefit here, but here is an example of some of the donation benefits we will offer at launch: ability to queue for dungeons from anywhere, mark/recall system, spell bundles (including spells that have not been released yet), gold packages, bank upgrades, faction changes, player home benefits mentioned above, and more. In addition, donators get a special VIP tag with a certain color depending on their level of donation:
$5-15 - green
$20-25 - light blue
$30-45 - dark blue
$50-70 - orange
$75-95 - purple
$100+ - black

We upgraded to an extremely powerful dedicated server box for the best player experience possible, and are a little backed up on server bills and thus would greatly appreciate each and every donation. Premium Housing Plots � Premium housing plots are available via donation credit. The premium plots are located in/around the main cities and are fairly large plots. You have the option of choosing a prebuilt house, or you may build your own.
Whitelisting � While we are not wiping the whitelist from closed beta, if for some reason you are not whitelisted anymore or have friends that would like to join, we now have automatic whitelisting via the minecraft forum thread and our forum. Go post in the thread on MC or the thread here on our forums with the template in the original post and you will be automatically whitelisted.
Ticket system � We encourage the use of our in-game ticket system. The in-game system is the same as in beta with the command /ticket [message]. We will monitor the in-game system closely, and if you require more assistance you can post on our forums or email [email protected] .
Teamspeak � Our own teamspeak is located at ts.mysticrealms.net . Feel free to hop on and speak with your fellow faction members (or enemies!). If you are in a guild, you can request a guild channel for you and your members.
Wiki � We are continuing to update our wiki page located at (http://mysticrealms.net/wiki ). The wiki is editable, so if you want to update a page, add screenshots, or have experience with wiki formatting in general, feel free to go edit pages or add pages as necessary. However, we would ask that you please not edit pages without a 100% understanding of what your are writing up. We will monitor for vandalism.
Player housing � Besides the premium plots mentioned above, we recommend players make their permanent homes on the Revered Realm. Here you can enjoy free-building with towns! Towns are great for guild hangouts and making an awesome base to show off. Check it out!
The Valley � **NEW** This is the main region outside of both cities. PvP is enabled here, and it contains many quests ranging from intermediate to extremely difficult. You will complete the quests for the various new spells here as well as learn more about the lore of the server.
Battle for Myrith � **COMING SOON** Our main battleground. It will occur regularly, on a schedule to be announced. The winning faction will receive a set amount of gold for taking control of the city and later there will be additional benefits for winning, such as special vendors. There will be signs when you join that you can click that will provide you with armor and other gear for the battle (but you cannot take these items out of the battle). Mystic Guilds - Our fully custom-coded guilds plugin allows players to establish their own guilds with friends and community members. Guilds will cooperate in guild-based events, arenas, battles and of course rising the economic ranks!
Arenas - Enjoy the same customized arenas as on the Mystic Realm! We will have arena seasons whereby top teams will receive rare prizes. It includes a "skirmish" mode wherein you receive free items to fight with, so there is no risk of losing anything!
Automatic Spleef - We run an automatic spleef event randomly throughout the day. It's easy to join, with "/spleef join", and you can win credits and other prizes!
Spells - Any spells you unlock on the Mystic Realm can be used on the Revered Realm. Use them to help you and your town-mates take control of the buff regions (read about them below).
Towny - Found or join your own town in the land of Mystia. Grow your small guild into a vast empire and attempt to control as much land as possible or take your small group of friends and build a great small town that is the perfect size for you.
Mystic Buffs - This is one of the highlights of the Revered Realm. There are four battle zones around the map. Every hour, a battle zone becomes capturable. Prepare your guild for battle! Once the battle zone is in capture mode, whichever guild dominates the control point for the next 10 minutes will successfully capture the battle zone. Upon capturing, the entire guild will benefit from an amazing buff and earn great rewards! Below are the buff rewards for each battle zone:
Protection Battle Zone - Iron Guard - Decreases all incoming damage for 1 hour
Haste Battle Zone - Primordial Forest - Increases movement speed and prevents hunger loss for 1 hour
Magic Battle Zone - Forgotten Tundra - Increase all magic skill damage for 1 hour
Rampage Battle Zone - Earth Scarred - Increases all physical damage for 1 hour
