Curse Premium is used for more than Minecraft. Curse has been around for years before Minecraft started using it. It's the most used site for World of Warcraft mods and has several mods for other games like Rift and Elder Scrolls online too.

What a great mod! Very in the spirit of the game and not at all overpowering. The only two things I would add to this charming mod would be a campfire that cook food and to have a config file.

    Great Job with the mod!

Edit: Oh, I just discovered a bug: It seems that the mod doesn't recall your last spawn point. When you die, it ports you back to your original spawn instead of the last place you slept in a real bed. Is there a way that this mod can let you sleep to pass night time, but without changing the spawn at all?

posted a message on Biomes O' Plenty - Over 50 new biomes, with new trees, plants, mobs, and more!
Hi, I can't seem to locate the download link for BoP for Minecraft 1.6.2. Is it something I'm doing? I can't find it on the main "Current Download" page nor under the old downloads page.

Any help you can provide would be truly appreciated.

Thank you for sharing such a great mod!

    Quote from Annysia

Well, we are currently working on redoing all of our biomes. Our main mod will remain based on real biomes, trees and plants. We will also be making an add on that will contain fantasy type biomes, such as the crystal forest and many of the trees from MTJT. Regarding our redwood, it is actually pretty true to life. If you look at the image here, you will see that there are many varieties, including the giant redwood. The oaks in EBXL are vanilla oaks, as we have not done anything with them.

The autumn forest is was based on images similar to this one. Which is how they look in the fall where I live. They actually are that bright and when the sun shines on them they even look like they are glowing. Our old autumn forest seemed faded and we wanted to make it look more true to life. The rainbow eucalyptus is an actual tree with blue bark just like ours as seen in this image. It even comes in other bright colors as well. The trunk of the cherry tree is based on this tree, which is the paper bark cherry. We have redone the color to be a darker red, more like that image, to match the leaves better and will be in the next release. It does, however, come in the color it currently appears as. So as you can see, the things we have added are all very much true to nature and not fantasy at all. Many things in nature come in bold vibrant colors like what we are adding and not just the varying shades of green leaves and brown bark that most people are use to seeing.

Oh, these trees are absolutely beautiful and I had no idea about the rainbow trees in real life. I will say that I love the vibrant colors of the autumn forest - it was like that where I grew up too, so I love this biome and really wish that the previous colors were still left in there too for a complete spectrum! But I do understand that not everything can be included :) The only biome that I really miss from from Extrabiomes is the Cherry Grove. I love the Forgotten Nature pink and white cherry trees - they are lovely.

Forgotten Nature has simply done a fantastic job of making each tree look really really original with beautiful colors and I really like how Extrabiomes has implemented the Cypress. I too am not a big fan of the fantasy trees and typically turn off the crystal trees and features and the bukkit tree, but I use as many of the others as my lag will allow.

I can't wait until all of the trees are implemented in Extrabiomes :)

Enderchest problem - Remove the block in the co-ords and should be all good.

I'm having the same crash with the lastBrightnessY but I'm not at all sure what you mean by "remove the block in the co-ords". How would I do this? I've searched all of the NEI configuration files, but I'm not seeing the Enderchest Block referenced.

This sounds great! Will there be a limit to how big the boats can be? Or can we use multiple Ship blocks to make a bigger ship? I'd love to make a real Titanic :)

posted a message on 1.7.X [Forge] (S[SM]P) Vanity Blocks Mod (updated 7-1-2016)
This is a great mod! I love the look of the marble and the vanilla storage blocks are very helpful. However, I think I'm doing something wrong, because when I disable all of the different mod blocks in the config, they still show up. I don't use any of the mods that these blocks are for, but I do use a couple of others (i.e. metallurgy) and these block recipes can overlap. Not sure if the recipe overlap is a problem or not itself, but I had thought that if I disable the blocks, they wouldn't show up.

Did I do something wrong? I'm on 1.5.2 with Forge .738 and I am using the latest 1.5.2 versions of NEI, Mo'Creatures, Biomes-O-Plenty, Metallurgy3, GemsPlus, ButterflyMania, PetBat, and Rei's Minimap.

Thanks again for the great mod.

I'm really liking your mod ideas quite a bit -- thank you for sharing them with the community. I haven't finished testing/installing everything into my 1.5.2 build yet, so I don't have any practical feedback yet, but I really wanted to let you know that I really like the features of both this mod and your herbology mod.

posted a message on Curse Premium feature ideas, what do you want from Curse Premium?
To be honest, the only benefit I ever received as a Premium member was for World of Warcraft, where it is a fantastic idea to be able to update all of my WoW mods at once at the click of a button.

That being said, even with money being tight, if Curse could somehow get the ability to actually manage our Minecraft mod downloads, it would be so worth the cost. I'm not even talking about the installation of mods -- that can always be tricky...I just mean just the management of the various versions of mods with a "quick view" that shows the mod name, latest version, Minecraft Version it supports, whether it's a dev release, the last date it was updated, other mod dependencies, categories, etc.....Managing mods has become almost a game in itself as there is so much involved with it and there are several mods where you end up having to search through the entire thread to see updates.

I too am wondering if there are plans for a 1.5.2 update at some point. No pressure though; I just want to let you know that I'm another fan and have been in love with this mod since it was LC Trees :).

posted a message on [1.5.1/1.5.2][SSP/SMP/LAN][FORGE] Dragons Mod Reloaded
There isn't a lot of information about the features of this mod or if it contains all/any of the features of the original mod. If you don't want to list all of the features, you should at least put the link to the original mod http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/207210-v173-dragons-wipv242/ and credit the original mod's author for the idea and their artwork.

I simply loved the original and if this update has all of those features, plus is SMP/Forge compatible - I'll definitely be downloading this!

This looks like a great mod and I'm definitely going to give it a try! Thank you for sharing it with the community. Do you know if this will still work in 1.5.2? I know some mods do, while others don't so I'm compiling a list before I upgrade :)
