May 31, 2013MxTheMiner posted a message on Snapshot 13w22a Ready For Testing!Great, you took a week to add a few new sounds and fix a few bugs. You'd think that a game as huge as Minecraft would get a little more content without horribly long periods between updates (not to mention that Mojang has millions of dollars to hire more employees).Posted in: News

4. Pickaxe
5. Whatever I need at the moment
6. Fire resist or some other potion

I'd go with a massive multi-level cave I found when I was new to MC. It seriously never ended and every pathway had connections to the main cave. It was like a huge underground maze. Part of my amazement was probably from being new to the game and not having experienced other caves like that one.

But that is a good question, never thought about it really. Maybe it regenerates at an infinite rate? And it does so with matter from the void, since you can see particles in there.

Blast protection might be useful if you're on hard, but otherwise creepers don't really kill you in one hit.
Projectile protection will be useful in the next update since skeletons got buffed.
Regular protection will defend you from spiders and zombies.
So I would probably use a mixture of projectile and regular protection armor.

2. Unless you play on peaceful then there's no avoiding this. Just make sure to bring armor and a weapon. You'll be very well protected if you have iron armor.
3. Well since you know he's not real, I can't really help you with this one. Just avoid Herobrine stuff on the web.
4. Use excessive torches, or even better, grab some night vision potions. They'll light up everywhere and you can see everything, even underground. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Brewing
5. Make sure everything behind you is lit and there probably won't be mobs. And Herobrine won't be looking at you, either...
I was scared of mining when I first got MC too, but after a while you'll get used to the mobs and darkness. Remember that it's just a game and whatever happens won't happen outside of it. As a last tip, play multiplayer instead. The fact that you're not alone is a good confidence booster when you go underground.

Just a small suggestion that I hope can reach the Mineraft team. I doubt it would take a very long time to code the recipes.

Also, any plans to build a city or something on the flat area? You could smelt a ton of stone bricks with the stone you'll mine.
