I was trying to not die until I killed the Enderdragon, but things didn't work out as I planned. I'm going to go to the nether in a few updates(hopefully).

Hopefully you don't take as long as I did to find nether wart, took me fifteen minutes to find a nether fortress but it had no nether wart, took another twenty minutes to find a nether fortress that had nether wart and another twenty minutes to get back to my portal. Also got myself a pet zombie pigman after one of my trips when I was mining for quartz.

    Update #3 Is Out!

Seems like your new home is nice and flat, should make it easier to build a large project there. I prefer the grass and flowers to be gne too, sometimes after I build a few buildings depending on the theme of the area I might plant some gardens but most of the time I just leave all of the plants removed. As for the secret project I have no idea what it could be, I wonder if it will be bigger than what I'm planning to built.

Update #4 Is Out! Wow, 2 updates in one day! Thanks for the support everyone :)

Seems like you had the same luck as me with skeletons. I didn't have any trouble with caves spiders in my mineshaft though, I only ran into one cave spider spawner but quickly managed to block it up before any could spawn. Too bad about you're first death, it's good that you managed to find your items though. Hopefully I don't get my first death until I atleast beat the enderdragon. I also hope your trip to the nether goes well when you do it.

Now that I got a respiration helmet and I can collect clay I started working on clearing an area to build on, the nearby jungle seemed the the flattest area around so I started working on clearing it out.

Between using fire and tnt some vines became a little glitchy.

I used a total of seven flint and steels along with the thirty-six tnt I got from desert temples, Managed to clear out a lot of the smaller trees and bushes but I still need to cut down the large ones.

After I clear out all of the trees I'll need to start getting rid of the hills, might take me a couple of days to finish doing that. Next up would be to fill in all of the nearby lakes with the dirt I get,I should get enough dirt from clearing the hills but if not I'll also use cobblestone to fill the lakes. Then after doing that I'll need a lot of clay and then I can start construction on my project. Currently I have around twenty stacks of hardened clay, I estimate that I'll need around two or three hundred stacks to build it though. I get around fifteen to twenty stacks of clay blocks in an hour of mining it so that could add another twenty hours of work collecting the items I need for the building.

Fortunately I have quite a few diamonds from dungeons and desert temples, so I shouldn't have to worry about running out since I'm using mostly shovels and not to many picks. Food shouldn't be much of a problem either since I have about two stacks of cooked beef stored in a chest. Since I don't have to worry about running out of those it should let me focus more on clearing the nearby land and not on having to farm for food and diamonds.

Once again while mining I heard zombies and mined towards them, ended up finding another mineshaft. Saw a spawner and then saw it spawn a spider, so I instantly thought it was a cave spider spawner and blocked the way to it. Later On when I went back and looked at it again I realized it was a normal spider spawner. Had a name tag and some music disks in it and some other stuff, I now have 5 music disks total from the spawners I've found.

Went to the nether to collect quartz for experience to enchant my helmet, took 3 tries to get a respiration III helmet. Anyway between the mining trips to the nether I'd spend around 5-10 minutes putting things away and brewing more health potions. I noticed that there was always the same zombie pigman walking around my base. So I decided to make it a little pen and name it.

Also I think everything I want to name tries to troll me because they know I won't kill them. Once I started to build the pen for the zombie pigman I saw it walk past me, so I stopped to see where it was going. It stopped in front of the nether portal stopped for a second to look at me then started to walk foward to go into the nether portal. I managed to stop it from entering the portal but ended up taking around 10 minutes to get it into its pen. My pet chicken also likes to troll me, a lot of the times when I'm returning from my mine and going back up my ladder to my base I see my chicken standing on top of the trapdoor above it. Sometimes I have to wait a couple minutes for it to move off of it.

However if you want to get a specific enchantment use this to help you:
    http://pernsteiner.o...nt/leveltables/

Just a heads up, that site hasn't been updated for over a year. That means items that can get thorns won't be as accurate and that the site won't have anything about enchanted books on it. Other than that I think it's still pretty accurate.

I've found that I like how noisy zombies are, after exploring a while in my mineshaft it seemed like I explored all of it but then I heard a zombie, so I mined towards it and ended up finding another part of the mineshaft to explore. After exploring for a while and getting a getting a bunch or iron and coal I decided I should do some branch mining. While branch mining heard zombies and mined towards them and found a zombie spawner and one of the chests had a nametag, so now I can name my pet chicken. Also my chicken went down my 20 block lader and into my brewing room so now I have to get him back up to the surface which might be a pain to do.

Next up I figured since I had three golden apples I decided to explore the nether, ended up using one of the golden apples almost instantly since a ghast shot at me as soon as I ended the nether. Took around 15 minutes to find a nether fortress but unfortunately it was small and didn't have any netherwart. Spent another 20 minutes to find another stronghold that had netherwart, used another golden apple along the way due to getting shot by another ghast. After exploring the fortress for a while I found a chest with horse armor in it. (Can't remember if it was iron or gold armor.) Killed some blazes and used my last golden apple to heal myself. Took another 10 minutes to get back to my portal and return home.

After making some healing potions I decided to explore the surface a bit. Spent around two or three hours exploring jungles and deserts, found a few desert temples, one surface dungeon, no jungle temples and no villages, also killed a bunch of cows. The only things that I found interesting is one of the temples had 6 diamonds in it, one of the temples had 3 diamonds and diamond horse armor and the surface dungeon had some good items in it. One of the chests had 4 buckets some redstone and wheat. (Had to leave the redstone and wheat behind though since I had a full inventory.) The other chest had these in it.

I also found a five block tall cactus which amused me for some reason.

Playing with health regen disabled makes the game a lot more interesting and challnging, I hope to see more of what you do on your world. Hopefully you have better luck than me though, I constantly run into skeletons and I've used 2 golden apples already because of them.

Made a new world with the same seed as my old world that I lost. I decided I wanted to rebuild one of the projects I was working on but never got to finish. I'm playing on hard without health regen to make it more challenging.

Decided to build my base in the same place I did on my old world, currently it's just a small wooden hut with some windows and a pet chicken.

Since I didn't feel like looking for a cave I just dug straight down and ended up being right beside a ravine. Went caving for a while and found some gold and diamonds before I had any iron tools. After getting back to my base and making iron tools I went down to get the diamonds but heard a zombie while I was going down my ladder, so I mined for about 5 blocks behind my ladder and ended up finding a mineshaft.Spent around half an hour exploring the mineshaft and avioding spiders, ended up getting some coal and a little bit of iron but nothing useful. I might go back and explore the mineshaft more once a get milk but until then it's to risky to try exploring it more.

My current goals are to find a nameplate for my chicken, make an enchanting table so I can get an aqua affinity and respiration helmet, flatten a 200x200 area for the building I want to make and mine up a couple hundred stacks of clay to turn into hardened clay.

I don't think I've ever had more than five double chests full of cobblestone. Usually if I ever get close to that amount I build something with it. On one of my worlds I used around three thousand building a bridge, ten thousand building a road to a nether fortress and a couple thousand more building a nether base.

There are reasons some people might want to do this, maybe they started the world with the plan to defeat the dragon but after that they decided they liked the worlds seed and they don't want to have to start over again on it. There's also the chance they died due to some sort of bug and not something that's their fault. While playing on some of my normal survival worlds I've died due to some unfair things like getting hit through a wall by zombies or falling into the viod while loading the nether for the first time.

It's possible to think of all sorts of reasons that people might want to use this, but instead of doing that let's tell people how they should play a sandbox game on their save.
