Seeing as MCEdit hasn't been updated since pre-anvil, and SPC hasn't been updated to the latest version, is there any utility that can save structures as schematic files in 1.3.2?
Like I said on the forums, I'd be happy to help you fix it good to see you again. (As far as I know, factions automatically disband when all the members don't log on for a certain amount of time. So, that is probably what happened.)
Probably. I'll be on after work, so around 7-ish, EST. Bring a bucket. lmao
Finished moving to a new house, decided to pop in and check on my build, (supposedly in protected land) and it was griefed to hell with lava and water. Nice. Shortest login ever.
Not sure what happened, but after I logged in this morning, a plain stone wall in my mine had ended up looking like this.
regal, were you or Glitter playing around in creative mode?
1. Your exact in-game name. Mustangrande
2. Which title you would prefer. Lord
3. Anything you'd like to say. I'd like to be added to the peaceful faction, for the same reason as the previous poster. I enjoy RP, but not PVP.
I generally use iron tools, since after exploring a nice cave or building a decent mine, I'm usually swimming in the stuff. The extra durability and base mining speed are an acceptable tradeoff for having to smelt them up. It's not like iron is in short supply like it was in the early days.
I dug an L-shaped hole into a hillside and placed a one-block-high "door" at the entrance, so that nothing could get in. The L shape allowed me to get out of the way of arrows, while the one-block opening allowed me to see if it was daylight. I found myself trapped in my shelter by a creeper. With nowhere to go, and having had mobs drop on my head upon exiting WAY too many times, I swore off of below-ground shelters, trading them for an obsession with high ground.
On my first world, I saw a gravel pit with an arch over it, and thought that arch would make a good spot for a base. "Hey! High ground!" I ended up with creepers outside my main shelter, with no way to dig out an emergency exit, due to having a pit full of creepers beneath my house. I finally made it out when a spider jumped into my little fort, off of a nearby cliff, and killed me, sending me back to spawn, and allowing me to lure the explosive congregation away from anything important.
I learned that high ground wasn't as important as easily-securable ground. My subsequent war with that overlooking mountain is another story entirely. Very poor locational choice.
saved the pic.
This is my current house. It's a creative build that I've saved as a blueprint. I usually MCedit it into a new world, to use as a base for whatever project I'm working on.
