The site will be up soon...I will post it then when the server is fixed up, I will make a formal thread. You have assurance that if the server that you worked hard ever had to leave (being the one I'm working on), you'd have full rights to the map you worked on on before it went anywhere. The site should be up in a half-assed manner this evening...

Would anyone be on board with the idea of the map being available via torrent so that anyone who has a piece or worked really hard on a piece of the map, it could never be lost? I mean the torrent would be obsolete compared to the current maps life after a few days/weeks but, the option is that it wouldn't be restricted to just 1 person who could screw it all up. The torrent would be periodically updated to included new creations...food for thought. I know I like to have backups of my creations...why shouldn't everyone else, especially when it comes to SMP and group buildings. I think its even MORE important to have a backup of beautiful and extravagant things like that.

*shakes head* For what its worth, I'm currently working on setting up a smaller server that is basically the spirit of what was going to be achieved here. It will have emphasis on super-structures and enjoying company & creativity. Perhaps later it will included PvP and so forth but...the spirit from what I had gathered of this place was amazing creations without 'creative mode'.
So that's what I'm going to do. That way there can't be any room for drama and BS because I'll be the only one running it. I'll post something with more content later with a bump to this thread once I have more put together. Basically I'll be looking for a few mature architecturally minded folks to help me build up a start area and work out a few bugs before opening it up for the rest of the folks. The spirit will live on...with a stable & trustworthy admin this time.
