Better HUD 1.3.8 for Minecratt 1.11 is now out! The long-awaited 1.11 update is fully-functional, although because there have been many changes in the code there may be some glitches which slipped through the cracks. If you do find one, feel free as always to post it here and I'll try to address it.
There are no new features in this version, hence why the version number has not changed, but the code is quite vastly different from the 1.9 or 1.10 versions. The link to the download is on the original post with all the other downloads. Thanks!
When my inventory is full the number of items picked up doesn't stop increasing in the HUD. Also the potion indicator added into minecraft in 1.9 gets in the way of some of my HUD and I was wondering if you could add an option in your mod to disable the one from vanilla since its pointless when you can use the Betterhud version.
Does the newest update work with 1.11.2 forge yet?
Yes I am using it at the moment.... I have a question tho, where is the equipped info option? I'm trying to get rid of the name and bar above my inventory showing the weapon I'm holding.
Edit: Nevermind, I figured they split it into armor and holding bar... I feel stupid hahaha
I might do it some time but right now I have more important things to update :S
It's also unnecessarily complicated because for some stupid reason mobs don't have a common variable for the head model; so all mobs, including modded, would pretty much need to be added manually to the get the perfect result, and I'm a little bit a perfectionist X(
yeah that sounds harder than I thought... well if you ever get around to it I would appreciate it, if not then I understand - like you said its not that important.
I can do something about f3 I don't really mind having it there, but people don't generally play with f3 on all the time; when they do have it on I can understand not wanting to have it be obstructed. It's nice for debug / a sanity check that I'm not causing too much CPU usage/fps drop but doesn't really need to stay on the screen for release.
Currently not possible to put the map anywhere but the corners. No technical reason for it, that's just the options the GUI cycles through. For each corner it passes the map the coordinates to draw at. Those coordinates could be anything, just currently no way to pass it something other than the corners or have it save. Just saying it wouldn't be a huge undertaking (for me) to put it somewhere else, other than figuring out how to expose the option in the UI.
Slime chunks wouldn't be too difficult either, just as I've said not a lot of motivation to do so, as it's basically SP only. If I get bored, maybe
And from a previous request, next version you'll be able to click on the coordinates on the world map and enter your own to be able to have the view jump to a specific point on the map

My world map is stuck in topography mode after I switched to it... I am playing 1.11.2 with forge 13.20.0.2204 and the journeymap 5.4.2. Does anyone know how to fix this? Its probably just a bug I mean its an alpha version I think.
Also, I was wondering if you would consider adding slime chunks as a feature in singleplayer. Thanks!
Edit: changing the "preferredMapType": from "topo" to "core" in the fullmap config worked but its kind of a work around because i have to restart the game every time.
I would love slime chunks on the minimap - even just for singleplayer. Does anyone know if there are any other litemods I can add that would do that? Otherwise, I have no idea how hard it is to implement a feature like that but I would really like to see it in voxelmap!
In Optifine do not put FPS on Unlimited. It can help.
Won't make too much difference.... I have a 970 running max and getting around 40-60fps on default and with texture packs like faithful, chroma hills and john smith. Is that supposed to happen? What settings should I change to increase my framerate?
slime chunks would be possible in singleplayer. not possible in multiplayer unless you know the world seed (the server admin would have to give it to you). could implement it where possible but I haven't been super motivated ot do so tbh, I just look for slime icons heh

Hey man, I just wanted to start by saying I think your minimap is definitely the best out for minecraft. However, I was wondering if you are thinking of adding slime chunks on the minimap at any point or how hard that might be. Anyways thanks for a great mod!
