I like it, especially the different effects. Some may be a bit OP though, like trapping an enemy. Hey, it might actually add something to the game though; you get stuck, whip out your bow. Great work, maybe some pics :wink.gif:?
People grief because it's amusing. They feed off of your anguish. If you whine and make threads about grieifers, you just entertain them more. All they want to do is have fun; just like you. They accomplish this by laughing at your raging. Why? I don't know. However, I can assure you, it's ****ing hilarious. They also do it because it's 'exciting'. The 'risk' of getting caught, and, oh my, even banned from a minecraft server! Just ignore (ban) them and they will go away.
Think about it this way. The dog is programmed to follow you no matter what, and ignore whatever may be in the way (water, lava, fences) to try and get to you. Obviously, the most direct route often fails, but thats key to this design. As long as the wolf remains in the fenced area (maybe by sitting) he will try to walk to you. If you walk to the end of the corridor, the wolf will try to reach you, and step on a pressure plate on the way, opening your door.
Ingenious, truly, but impossible because wolves teleport to your location if they can't walk over to you. Especially when you leave the room, they'll port.
Are you ****ing retarded, dude? It's not us. Team Reliant cracked passwords, got onto admin accounts and banned everyone. We ops are deopped and banned. They are on the server griefing the server at the moment and banning anyone who joins.
Well that sucks. No wonder the server was so messed up. Hopefully I can try it when it's back online

- I like the server concept, and especially the tutorial. To be honest, its hard to judge a server and its members until you sign on, and after doing so, I feel much more confident about this server. The guide was friendly and answered my questions, and I hope to be able to set up a secret hiding hole :smile.gif:.

My new base is a fishing village idea, all docks and wharfs out on the water. I never, ever have to worry about mobs, hostile or no, because they can't climb ladders or path properly to get me. Unfortunately, the wolfies can't figure it out either, and drown themselves every time under on of my docks. Every. Time.
Buuuuut, I like a little company, so if Im going on a mining expedition, Ill tame one to bring with me. And I think we all know what happens to Wolves in the bowels of the earth. So far, not one that went down with me has come back. Not. One.
Do you have permissions to read/write the files in the directory?
It also looks like your map is corrupt. Try starting over in a new folder with just the exe/jar and see if it does the same.
Well, I AM admin (edit**) of my computer. So I assume I have permission. But can I copy and paste my old files into this new folder? It was a real pain in the **** getting it all together -- Can I just reinstall the minecraft.exe??
