    Azanor, do wavefront obj models with new forge obj loader, or ask @RoseSpikes, she can do amazing stuff in 3dsmax. Or ask somebody else, I can do cool things too, but my cool things get done in google sketchup, and don't have textures, cuz google sketchup wasn't exactly made for texture mapping. :P

    Yes, minecraft is sandbox. But being able to get the result in different ways would be way better than just one. You get bored fast, if you punch trees all (real) day. Same for thaumcraft: if you will start any new worlds, you would get borred quickly, and Azanor don't have time to make >9000 researches so they would take a really long time to discover, and you won't need to start new worlds, or something.

    If you don't have your own opinion, if you can't chose, if you don't want to read descriptions and think what do you need the most, than I have bad news for you. Minecraft is your game, play it, alot. Mods were intended to change the way minecraft works, mods were made to add new stuff. Different ways of getting X in the same mod would be new and interesting, especially if Azanor will manage to balance them out so all of them would be equal.

    Well, the most of minecraft players don't wanna think, and only 1 of 10000 people who play minecraft make letsplays, and want to entertain people with something interesting, something that simple people can't do, like other chain of researches. If you all love equal rights, same things for all people, and playing alone(lol u suck if u no play with da ur friendz, o wait u dont hav ani lulz), you can do it. Just ask Azanor, if your opinion will be dominant, he will do a cool tree of same researches for you to enjoy, again and again, same things, again and again.....

    Dude, motivation to have multiplayer experience is good! If you play alone, you will have to read your thaumanomicon, think what to chose, and use your brain, and on a server, you can just ask someone to share experience in wizardry. You can hold your "Research Pages" with discovery description, until you unlock all the different pathes, and chose one, that you like more. It's just absolutley NO fun to race with your friends on a server on who will unlock all the stuff faster, cuz most of people remember all the research aspects after first time. Yes, it's fun when you are the only wizzard on a server, but there should be wizzard coopiration! And if you are so archivement-hunty and want to catch 'em all, there probably should be an end-game research to allow "Double-Specialization", and research all the things, but it should be DEEP in the research tree, so noone can simply go rush through everything to it, and then research anything you want.

    And about all the "complicated spells and asking people WUT DO ME DO??", one human don't have so many time to make so many spells and archvements, so there should be a few, like 3 times more then now, and they should all be descripted to you, so you don't need to google things like "how do me do magic lazor in da taumkrafft in miencrapht????!!111!1". Thaumcraft does a pretty good job with making player able to play without google, and I think Azanor can do all the chosing your destiny stuff.

    I think TC3 misses freedom in decisions! Choises! There should be different paths of being a magiciant, like talents/specialization in World Of Warcraft! So people will be forced to play together and cooperate to get ALL the stuff, or forget about some stuff, and do it different way. If you learn how to control animal's minds(Dark magic), you can't heal as good anymore. If you learn how to transfer different aspects in pipes, your ability to suck aspects from aura will degrodate, and you will need steampunk-like gadgets/devices for sucking it out from aura. If you learn how to insta-heal using specific aspects from aura, you will deal less damage, when using it as a weapon. If you learn how to cast/use spells faster, your won't be able to store as much aspects in yourself anymore.

    If you will implement something like this, it would be EPIC WIN. RP2 and TC3 are my favourite mods, but I love spells and wizardry, so I play with ars magica too, but I don't quite like finding all the spells randomly. If you will do talent-based researches of wands, spells, and things - rp2 and tc4 would be all mods I need. Evar.

Some of my friends don't know english, and are not able to read thaumanomicon, so I want to translate it to Russian! Come on, PewDiePie tells his audience EVERYTHING, makes lots of pointless videos(but he is awesome :3) and he earns like 9001$ a month from his partnership! You should play more games, do more stuff, and you'll be able to gain LOTS of money! And play less minecraft, really, the IC2 stuff is starting to become borring! It's not changing from season to season, and I think you should stream, and communicate with us! Come on, I belive you can get up to 1000000 subs, cuz you are really awesome!

    Lie, dude. Just find, where code is trying to make already tessellating tessellator tessellate, and add
    if(!tessellator.isTesselating)
    {
    tessellator.startDrawing(GL11.GL_<quads, or something.>);
    //blah blah, code..... etc.
    }
    Or something more complex, like use your own instance of tessellator for all XyThingsAndStuff.

    Forge team is working on universal liquid api for forge mods.... I think you should implement some kind of portal2'ish liquids, and use forge's api like ore dictionary, so liquids from other mods can be placed in world like portal2 gels.

    Ok, nevermind.... Decompiled the worldgen test version - same thing as on lava & water: each pixel's color is sin(timer + original_color).... So it's not what i wanted.
    By mask i meant 2 textures combined on same polygon(side of block). tried to activate GL_TEXTURE3 and bind my mask there, than use glTexEnvi to set pixel multiplying mode, but i faild, and now my minecraft looks really weird - all textures are shifted and stretched, or textures are just missing. Meh, need to read more books, and learn how damn minecraft uses GL_TEXTURE3 and GL_TEXTURE2(GL_TEXTURE1 is lighting i think...).

    Yeah, all true. I didn't cleaned up this post for a long time....
    And i am not a good 3D modeler. If you are - you can help me if you want. Any software is supported now - 3Ds max, cinema 4D, blender, google sketchup... The main thing is .obj format.
