    Few things you can have a look at:

    First off make sure you are running java 64-bit, it really helps for minecraft.

    Secondly, try and give java more memory to run when it runs pixelmon, you can modify java arguments in the minecraft launcher (which I'm assuming you are using) and it's easy to find those arguments on google. 2GB is a minimum for smooth running in minecraft 1.8

    Thirdly you can turn vbo's on in the minecraft video options.


    Try those and see how it goes. If you still have issues make a support post on our forums (www.pixelmonmod.com)

    Are you sure you are trying to connect to a 2.5.7 server and not a 3.0? Are you running the same forge as they are?

    A value of 500 would mean that for every 500 pokemon that spawn, a legendary has a chance of spawning

    Technically no version did unless you were running a server. 3.0 however made all that stuff optional. We have a univeral banlist in operation still but it is only populated by people that have done considerable damage to a range of servers. If you don't want the banlist to work you can disable it in the config

    Not a lot of surprise that that crashed. Pixelmon is for 1.6.4 still. You are trying to run it in 1.7

    if you have an nvidia card go to their website or an ati card go to theirs. Get the latest driver download for your chipset.

    You can reduce their rarity by reducing the number of air spawns in the pixelmon.cfg. I agree we need more bird pokemon and I did ask for them but I do not make the models so I have no control over what gets done

    That is planned. The idea we had was to make it so you can put in a username and it will make a trainer with that player's skin. There's no way we can set it up so the server will send the textures down to the client so we figured that would be the best approach.

    The fix for that is done and is being tested. It will be released in a patch which will contain a number of other fixes. Some people are finding that if they play with a save file that is older than 2.5 (and hadn't been played on 2.5 or a pokemon has been left in the pc since then) then it will crash when the pc is opened. That is being fixed as well.

    Yes we do. And it's not just 'enjoyable', it's to make this mod functional. Thankfully there are other mods out there that replicate the functionality of NEI without being so obstructive in the way they go about it. NEI could very easily make a second screen that NEI pops up rather than taking control of the inventory entirely. I also do spend hours talking to people playing the mod and servers running the mod and the consensus is that the inventory is better the way it is and far more usable

    There'll be a fix in a couple of days. We have found 2 crash bugs since release which are being fixed. There are also a few other tweaks that are coming out. Seems that even with 50 beta testers working hard you can't catch everything. We do our best

    This is right. We modify the main inventory because we believe that the pokemon experience to pixelmon is core to the mod and moving it to a tab would impact heavily on people's use of the mod.

    The others replying here are right. That forge adf.ly link isn't going through our adf.ly it's going through theirs. Compare it with the one on their website and you'll see that. We are getting them money not us

    I'm assuming it was a boss. Can't have been a shrine. There is a way to turn off aggression in the pixelmon.cfg file. It can be found in .minecraft/config
