What makes you the best guard applicant?: I'm willing to try my best, put in a lot of effort, but most importantly to do my job correctly and have fun at the same time!
Favorite aspect of SMP: Surviving against the elements and making a life out of it (i.e. farming, building, etc).
Least favorite aspect of SMP: Easily loosing track of where you are, places you want to find later, mob spawners (I try my best at all time not to use F3).
Who referred you to this server: No one did, I just google searched 18+ Minecraft servers and found this one.
I was mining for about 45 minutes, had a full inventory. I had many things on me, including: a silk touch unbreaking 3 eff 4 pic, a fortune 3 unbreaking 3 eff 4 pic (both of which were diamond), 45 diamonds, one emerald block, 40 gold ore, 4 stacks of unsmelted iron, 2 stacks of coal, 1 stack of lapis lazuli, an infinity 1 book, and other things as well. However, being greedy I figured I would mine until I found one more chunk of diamonds.
Found a ravine, explored it by using water to get rid of the lava. I spotted diamonds, was about to mine them when a ing CAVE SPIDER KNOCKED ME INTO LAVA. I type in the /home command (was on a smp server), but of COURSE i was 2 SECONDS ING LATE AND LOST ALL OF MY STUFF.
I am so ed and devastated I actually might kill myself due to my minecraft addiction.
Hello everyone, I have a quick question about my wheat farm on a public survival multiplayer server that I play on.
It's in a soon-to-be-built tower made out of stone with a roof on it. It's a 14x14 room with lots of windows and lots of glowstone to light it up. Most of the wheat is growing fine and normally, however my problem is that 2 particular spots aren't growing at all. I go to harvest it all and they haven't grown at all. I've given it 20-30 minutes to grow with me in the chunk or very near it (never further than 30 blocks away). What's going on? Is it a glitch of some kind? The rest of the wheat grows fine, except these 2 patches. They're about 3-4 blocks from each other, at the furthest corner, but other patches right next to them grow fine. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be?
Hi there, I just have a quick question about chunks and how they load/don't load.
So on an SMP server I play on I plan on building this huge 10x10 skyscraper with all of my farms in it (sounds strange but it has to do with limited protections). So anyways I plan on putting all crops and mobs in it on different levels. But then I thought: what if they don't load because it is too high up (max is 256 blocks)?
So my question is: will all of my crops grow and animals breed and such way up in the sky when I'm not in the chunk? How does it work too? I've heard that if you aren't in the chunk then nothing happens to your crops or animals. Or is it that all I would have to do is climb the tower to load the chunks FIRST, then regardless of where I am they will grow?
All of my minecraft data exists. All of the single player worlds, everything. I'm on Mac btw, and there is a folder in Library-Application Support. There is a minecraft folder in the application support under library. So why is it that when I load Minecraft, NOTHING shows up? all of my multiplayer worlds, all of my single player worlds don't show up. Yet all the data is there, in the RIGHT place. So wtf is going on, I'm really ed off.

I'm experienced with the server in that I have been playing on it for almost one year. Although I've played on and off with it (in that I've played for certain times, then quit for a while), I am very knowledgable in both the prison and server rules. Lastly, I am responsible, which goes hand-in-hand with me being mature. I know how to behave properly and respectfully, and I understand that not everyone is going to agree with me on what I may have to say, but that I should respect and come to terms with their opinion (instead of lashing out at them like many people seem to do these days). My base is at x:-915 y:53 z:-47. They found it and destroyed all of my chests and all of my sheep.
Now normally I wouldn't think that this was x-raying (hacking), except for the fact that they dug straight down to my hidden chests that were very well hidden. They were 4-5 blocks down below the main area and off to the side. There were no obvious signs of any hidden chests being there, and also the person dug straight to them. I will post screenshots of the grief.
Unfortunately uploading screenshots won't work, as it says: "You aren't allowed to use that image extension on this community." But I have given the co-ordinates, so if a Warden could please at some point teleport to the location and ultimately judge whether x-ray was used or not, I would be very appreciative.
I also have one more request. If the person did have x-ray, could you rollback/fix the grief? If they didn't have it, I understand and will accept my losses. But if they were hacking could I please be compensated?

I asked this because I was once told that a chunk was 16x16x16, so I didn't want to build a huge skyscraper if it wasn't going to function properly
