i have one thing to say. MCPATCHER. make it work with MC patcher too. since all of my mods are on MCpatcher. and with your SUPER MEGA INSTALER eatch time you corropt my bin folder. it is annoying to not be able to use the mod becuse your instaler SUCKS. AND i cant make the files work without the instaler. and NO i wont stop using MCpatcher. i am going to mess with a fliles a bit more. but then thats it. no more of this mod until you make it work with MCpatcher.

Rage harder. is installed doesn't suck; it works perfectly and is only a copy of Daxnitro's original GLSL Shader installer. It's probably a confliction with the mods you're using with MCPatcher, so go get that fixed before you come on here and complain that it's his fault.

My god, people on here are so dense.

Do you agree to the rules? Of course, yes.
How active are you? (hours per day) Probably <1 hour a day, but I'm looking to increase that. I used to play for >4 hours a day or more, depending on my schedule for the week.
Location? (where are you from?) Iowa, US.
What is your personal reason for wishing to join this server? I'm tagging along with Caseboy123. We're both looking for a good honest server that we can play on, since we both want to get back into this game. I just want to be able to slowly expand a small plot of land into a sprawling village over the course of several weeks, building up resources and whatnot. That sort of gameplay has always intrigued me.

Also, a note on my activity, I'll be able to put in at least an hour a day from school alone during study periods when I'm not busy, so more than 7 hours a week can be expected from me.

    2. NEVER dig straight down.
    3. Don't try to sword a creeper.
    4. Always cook your meat.
    5. It's pointless to mine cobblestone with an iron pickaxe.
    6. Gold is worthless.
    7. NEVER DIG STRAIGHT DOWN.

This still doesn't fix a problem plaguing the server I currently reside in; Endermen are tearing down trees. It makes the landscape look so ugly when you have tree bits scattered around floating bushes.

I've never been able to keep more than a few chickens in a 2 by X pen without them randomly dying. Anything I may be doing wrong?

...I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but 1.8 certainly does not have persistent animals. I've killed many a cow, chicken and pig around my house and yet they continue to spawn. Same is to be said for hostile mobs. If you leave the chickens alone long enough, they will despawn.

As far as I can tell, animals don't despawn, but killing animals will make new ones spawn. I think there might be a limit to the amount of animals per area/chunk or something, but I can't tell.

As far as this 'coop' idea, I'm really liking it, and I'll definitely need to try it.

Damn, I did something like this several months ago. Lost the map, but I had a sprawling underground fallout shelter of more than 50,00 square meters floor space spanning 4 floors. Could safely and effectively house 32 inhabitants. It had various farms at the lowest level, a cafeteria with seating, plenty of bedrooms, and a main foyer that spanned 2 floors, similar to how Fallout's shelters were constructed. Even had running water in all the bathrooms and an rudimentary airlock with falling-sand doors, all nearly 30m underground.

    I want that map back.

Some sort of hotel/apartment complex is always a good idea. Also a prison/jail for those damn creepers causin' domestic disputes all over the town.

If one normal TNT does not blow a block up, millions can explode on the same spot without doing so.
Explosion damage does not add up with more explosions.

So this test actually is invalid

But the test is perfectly valid because he isn't stacking explosions. He modded TNT so that 1 explosion has the force of many, not 1 TNT makes many explosions.

    You have two options now.
1: Read the stickied Section Rules thread at the top of the page.
2: Rip off your hands and never visit this section again. Thank you.
