Reason you want to join - I've been doing some modded recently with a friend but he has been super busy so I have been left with a Minecraft shaped void in my soul. I had a fun idea for a base/giant build and figured it would be fun to get into a vanilla community server again.
Minecraft Experience - Oh boy. Been playing since infdev, and have a few thousand hours of playtime on and off throughout the years. That doesn't even count the 1000+ hours of Minecraft content I've consumed as well. I haven't actually played much 1.12 vanilla so I am very excited.
Why you want to join - Well, see above reasons. But yeah, I really miss these community servers.
Just a few questions. From the wording it seems like this server has already started. How long has the world been up/is everything established already? I sorta like the whole working together to build a starting town and whatnot but it isn't a deal breaker if everything is already there.

Unfortunately, no. I am unable to do any Java until i fix my hard drive problems.
However, once I get it fixed, I plan to rewrite Terracraft for The Forge. I realized that if we keep going like this, we're not gonna get anywhere. Pascal is still a bit sceptical about this, but I'm going to make it for forge anyways.
Note that the forge doesn't have all the hooks we might need. Therefore, there will be base class changes anyways.
Well if the dev version isn't working and wont work, then maybe the title should be changed to 1.8 instead of 1.1.
Okay, I've re-re obfuscated the same source the same class files were created and I have installed the mod on my minecraft: works without problems. I have put the .class files into the minecraft.jar and deleted the whole META-INF folder. I'm using the original minecraft.jar
Can you post a screenshot that proves this works in 1.1?
there is no crash... just when i install it nothing changes...
This is what is happening to me....could anyone else confirm that the dev version actually works? Maybe something crucial is missing in the 1.1 release that is in the 1.8 one.
Are you sure you just didn't notice the stuff that was added because you might miss the graphics?
The dev version is supposed to work on Minecraft 1.1. What is meant by dev version? Well, it's just some version we decided to release to have something for 1.1 even though some items/blocks aren't done 100% and there are still items without graphics either. Regardless of that it should work.
Well I was flying over the world for quite a while and found no corruption, clay, ebonstone, or anything new. Would the added items appear in the creative mode inventory? I also have found no new ores. Is there any simple recipes that don't require the new blocks that I could try so I could see if I might have at least gotten the new recipes?
