uncagedblue posted a message on [Concept] ComplexCraft Ultra Light [WIP]
ComplexCraft Ultra Light is an idea that applies a great deal of customization and details, and doing a lot of the things people want in MC. Your sword will be your personalized awesome sword with a custom name, not a piece of iron that will soon break into oblivion. Please help support CC any way you can. Message me here if you want to help.

Let's get started.
Woodcutting
Alrighty then. You just started a new world. You look around, and see all sorts of flowers, trees... let's get to business. You go ahead to the closest tree and pawnch it with your bare hand. A pain ripples up your arm as you break your knuckles. What the hell are you trying to do? Go get some twigs by destroying leaves. Two twigs and a piece of bark you rip from the tree you make a small hatchet type thing out of wood. After a while, you chop down the tree and the tree falls down. With all this wood, you can go ahead and make a crafting bench with your logs. Later, you can make a sheet with 4 paper or 4 sheets with 1 wool. Placing the sheet on the workbench will give you a advanced workbench (You also need to put tools on it). You can no longer convert logs to planks with magic, now you must make a saw to refine your wood. Wood tools are made with sticks and bark. Now with 5 sticks (all sticks) make a wooden pickaxe to mine.
Mining
What is mining now? Dig, find generic cave or ravine that's common and looks the same as all other ravines, mine. Mining is just smashing a ore to bits, and you get generic iron. Come on, seriously? Let's get complex. So, we find a cave entrance, and enter. The cave is cave-like, with huge drops, waterpools, stuff. Mining stone gives you four cobble chunks. With four cobble chunks you can make cobblestone, and with 2 you can make carved stone. With that you can make stone picks and chisels. You can't make wood chisels. Now, when you get to the ore, you have two options: Mine it with a pick, or with a chisel. Mining it with a chisel gets your three chunks or iron ore, three chunks of cobble. With a pick (random number chance like redstone.) With a pick you get 1-2 iron and 4-5 cobble chunks. Iron ore will be smelted in the next section.
Smelting
First off, you need your furnace, but instead of a fuel slot, a input and output, we will have a new gui. On the bottom, one slot seperate from three other slots, and on top, a rack of about 8 slots. "But where do we put the fuel?!?" Well, the fuel goes into the three bottom slots. You can use wood for low heat, coal for medium heat, or lava for high heat. To use lava you need a obsidian and/or enchanted furnace. The lava would just flow into the back, not put in the slots. "So we just put some logs or coal in the bottom, and some ores in the top?" Nope, Chuck Testa. We need to start the fire, which is where the fourth bottom slot comes in. Put a Flint n' Steel in there. It will get used up a bit, but the fire starts and you can take your Flint n' Steel back. "But Uncaged!!!! How do we get Iron to make a Flint n' Steel if we need one the smelt it?!!" Well, you just craft 2 flint into a FLINT THING! Which is a flint and steel with only a one out of 10 chance to start a fire every click. You can use it to start a furnace though! In the future there will be other ways, but for now let's stick to this. (For example, a fire spell)
Forging
Now we have to smelt our shtuff! Let's go ahead and shove our pieces of iron onto the rack with 8 slots. You can't stack in the furnace, so only 8 at a time. That should be enough for whatever you want to make, and if it isn't, use multiple furnaces. (Or a double furnace) Now, over time, your iron lumps (Looks a bit like a beige Lapis piece) will start glowing orange, red.... Now, take the molten iron and quickly put it in your inventory. It will start cooling, so be quick. Arrange the molten iron into the desired shape on a anvil. You can make a stone anvil until you have iron too. An iron anvil is required for advanced recipes. Now take a stone hammer, and click on the hammer button as much as desired to form them. For example, hammering too much or too little may make the sword come out in bad condition.
Modifying/Personalization
Now that your sword is all done, you have a iron sword! BUT WAIT! You ain't done yet. If you want a amazing, personalized, unique sword, you are about half way. Now go ahead and wrap some leather or other desired material on the hilt for a grip, make a sheath, which you wear in the belt slots and you can see. To name your sword, go to a writing bench and put the sword in the naming slot. You can enter a name for your unique sword! Next, you will probably want to put a gemstone in it's pommel to be cool. You can smith it in by... putting it above the sword in the crafting table. Once you've done that, you will probably want to enchant it to get the most out of your sword.
