    New update! Last Infdev stage update!!! =D

    I fixed bugs and added new blocks and items, as well as naming all blocks and items of the mod.

    The server should also perform better and now has world types!!!

    EDIT: I'll be explaining soon the new features in server.properties for the server by the way

    - Ported April 13th Trees to use for the early april tree gen option

    - New World Type "AP Biomeless" which is an unused Alpha Mod Indev world type

    - You now get 200 points for killing Herobrine.
    - You now get 400 points for killing Him.
    - Ported the bow from early Infdev that spawns animals and monsters (got this working on legit first try, why does everything good happen when I have no internet >=( ).

    - You can now save your position and then load it (Enter and R keys by default, only works on singleplayer).

    - Extended World Type slots to 4056 (I'm not going to run out of slots this time lol, I had reached the limit which was 16 with the 618 gen which was 17, and the game would crash when going to the normal world selection, so I had to extend the limit).
    - Changed "Initiated RenderGlobalAP" debug text to "Started RenderGlobal AP" and changed the print to a println to fix a mistake.
    - Added a check on spawning on June 11th worlds for player to spawn on Alpha Grass that I forgot to add before.

    New version! I fixed World Customization and improved Tree Gen.
    I don't really have to say much here, only that I fixed infdev June 18th and 24th Minecart ids, Infdev door item texture and fixed World Customization. It now should work fine.

    New update!
    I added an Isometric viewer (which only works properly on finite worlds at the moment), and improved some options, and of course, bugfixes.
    I improved fog options; now you can have Normal, Classic, and Indev fog. Infdev 227 fog coming soon™ .
    I also made the old camera option have 3 chooseable cameras instead: Normal, Early Classic and Late Classic. I've also improved the Font selection option, no need to restart your game anymore!
    I also made a warning message appear on the AP Options screen that was supposed to appear on previous updates. I think I just disabled it because it didn't fit? I think it fits now.
    I fixed 2 id conflicts with items, and also made it so world types that have no biomes aren't affected by biome noise anymore. And, to end all of this, I corrected the classic lighting shadow brightness. Hooray!

    Hello! This is my mod, "Alpha Mod", it's a mod made for Minecraft Beta 1.7.3 that brings back old features from the game, and also makes the difficulty harder and more challenging.


    HOW TO INSTALL:


    First of all, you'll need ModLoader and ModLoaderMP for Beta 1.7.3 in order to make the mod work. Once you got these downloaded, you can continue!


    There's 3 methods to use if you want to install the mod, depending on the launcher that you're using:


    1. MultiMC: A "launcher" where you can create lots of instances of a lot of mc versions. You can add mods very easily. Create an instance, select beta 1.7.3, go to instance settings, click on the version tab, and click "Add to minecraft.jar" and select the ap-infdev version zip. Now get both ModLoaders from #releases pinned messages, and put them in this order (going down): ModLoaderMP, ModLoader and ap-infdev. Launch the game and it should work.

    2. Old Launcher: Old mc launcher, go to %appdata%, .minecraft, bin, and get a minecraft beta 1.7.3 jar. After that, open the ModLoaderMP zip, drag all the files to the jar, then the ModLoader files, and then the mod files. Delete META-INF and then launch the game!

    3. 2013 Launcher: Newest MC Launcher. Okay, open the launcher and create a profile and select old_betas 1.7.3 as the version of the profile. After that, launch it, and when the title screen opens, close the game and launcher. Now, go to %appdata%, .minecraft, versions, and copy the profile you just created. Paste it and name it anything you want like "Alpha Mod". go inside the folder and rename the jar and json to the same name you named the folder. Now, open the json and where it says at the start "id":"b1.7.3", rename it to "id":"(insert your name here)". Now open the jar, open the ModLoaderMP zip, drag all the files to the jar, then the ModLoader files, and then the mod files. Open the launcher, launch your profile and you should be ready to go.


    If you want to install the server, just follow these instructions:
    1. Download a minecraft beta 1.7.3 server jar

    2. Download the server version of the mod

    3. Insert all of the mod server files in the jar

    4. Done!

    World Types:

    There's currently 9 World Types, let's go through them!


    Default:

    It's basically the vanilla world gen, except it has an Alpha biome.


    Flat:

    It's release 1.2.5's Flat World Type, nothing special.


    Sky:

    it's like the Sky Dimension, and has the Default Type's biomes.


    Ruby Dung:

    It's like an Early Pre-Classic world, not recommended for actually playing the game, it's not made for Survival.


    Indev(WORK IN PROGRESS):

    It's got finite terrain, but it's not finished and needs a lot of work. It's planned to have settings to modify the size of the level, theme, depth, etc.


    AP-Infdev-20190127:

    It's an old world generation from the mod. It has no trees and has infdev-2010325 ore generation.


    AP-Infdev:

    The most used World Type in the mod, and the most recommended. Completely playable. It's Infdev's April generation but modified to have higher mountains, more trees, and other cool stuff. =)


    Infdev June 11th:

    It's Infdev's 2010 June 11th World Generation. It has a bit of flat terrain and oceans.


    March 27th:

    It's Infdev's March 27th World Generation, known for it's crazy terrain and ore generation bugs. This is my favourite world generation.


    Options:


    Game Options:


    There's lots of options, that way you can change how the game looks or feels like! There's even an option for Ambient sounds! (Though, it's kinda buggy and it's unfinished). Some of them don't work due to compatibility issues with other mods, so they had to be disabled.


    World Options:


    When you create a world, you'll see that there's a "More options" button, press it, and you'll see this:

    At the moment, you can only use Release 1.1 Caves and Cheats for the Default World Type, but that will be changed so you can use them for all World Types very soon =)

    "Structures" contains things like Mineshaft, new dungeons, and other secrets.


    And lastly, you can play this with your friends! Yes, there's multiplayer support!
