I have Mo' Creatures installed along with Biomes O Plenty, Computercraft and Twilight Forest. My server computer is slow so I've cut the mob maximums to about half of the default; spawn rates are about 20% less than default.

It hasn't been updated, meaning you'd first have to go back to Minecraft 1.4.7. You'd have to download the 1.4.7 minecraft.jar and put that in your /minecraft/bin. You'd have to be careful not to load existing 1.5.2 worlds while you had the 1.4.7 jar installed though, and since your son is 8 that is a serious concern. So my step-by-step advice if you want to do this:
- Download the 1.4.7 minecraft.jar
- Download Minecraft Forge for minecraft 1.4.7 (this lets you run mods)
- Download the Adventure Time mod for 1.4.7
- Copy your existing minecraft.jar somewhere to back it up
- Backup any existing worlds you care about by copying their folders somewhere
- Copy the 1.4.7 minecraft.jar to the /bin folder, overwriting the 1.5.2 jar file
- Open it with a jar archive viewer/editor and delete the META INF folder
- Open the minecraft forge zip file you downloaded, drag all contents into the same minecraft jar
- Start minecraft; see if forge works (it will make some directories)
- Exit minecraft
- Copy the adventure time mod zip file to the /mods folder
And that should do it.
To restore your old worlds and vanilla minecraft, simply copy the original 1.5.2 minecraft.jar (which you backed up) back into the /minecraft/bin directory. You'll have to be careful not to load the wrong world in while a given jar file is active (you wouldn't want to load a adventure time mod world into vanilla 1.5.2.)

1.) Is DivineRPG compatible with the above biome mods?
2.) Is DivineRPG compatible with Mo' Creatures mod?
3.) Do you think it's a good or bad idea to combine them?
4.) I'd rather use MC1.5.2 and just wait until the new version of DivineRPG (this month?) Could I start a 1.5.2 server now with just the other mods, then later add the 1.5.2 compatible DivineRPG without problems happening? Or does DivineRPG need to be active from the beginning?
Thanks!

So... in a forum created for the discussion of changes to a video game, what makes you annoyed is a group of people complaining about changes to a video game. Totally sensible.

Also, those installation instructions are bad:
- You should delete the meta inf folder before installing forge
- You should always tell people to backup their jar file before modding it; many people probably modified their 1.5.1 jar file mistakenly and now can't play Minecraft, which they'll blame on you
