seggest your favorite free to play mmo here, i tried the WoW trial and loved it. my parents won't let me get because it's 15$ a month, so i'm looking for a good mmo that i don't have to pay for and can be played on a very old computer (i think it's from around 2004-2005).

Lololol, 04-05 is very old? 1993 is old.

ANYWAAAAAY, most free mmo's aren't great. Attempt to push negotiations with your parents. They should buckle with the right logic.

    RISE, OH MIGHTY THREAD
LET THERE BE TF2 DISCUSSION ONCE MORE

Aaaaaaaanyway, I just got this for my birthday, but the game keeps crashing when the valve logo at the start pops up, or if I try to skip it.

I have everything required, except .4 GHz in CPU speed. Not too big a deal, methinks.

EDIT: Also, apparently my graphics card isn't recognized by steam. According to game specs it meets minimum requirements, though.

Hoorah, Harvest Moon! I always loved this game.

Through an extreme coincidence, I rented Magical Melody, my first Harvest Moon game, from a Rogers Video store. When the time came to return it, the store had closed and they told me to keep it and my other rented game, Chibi-Robo. :biggrin.gif:

I found A Wonderful Life in a random Gamestop for 3 bucks. :biggrin.gif:
    I am t3h lucky.

On the topic of wimmins, courted Ann in MM, forget who in AWL.

    Why wouldn't you choose Pokémon?

    Probably because you're insane.

Or you enjoy the thought of being Tom Nook's slave.

I enjoy the thought of being Tom Nook's slave.

Wait, is Magician's Quest available? It's like Animal Crossing, but with WIZARDS AND ROMANCE.

Oh man, I saw that game at Gamestop. Should I get it?

Hello, my fellow aspiring game dev!
I have some advice: DON'T USE GAME MAKER. LEARN A PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE.
I suggest you start with Scratch or Alice, then work your way up to Java. THEN make your game. :smile.gif:
    Don't falter! Onwards!

maybe when i get some time

Not maybe. Now. You will never go anywhere with Game Maker. Go find some computer courses to take or something. Walk before you run.

    POKEMON YO

Too east to take over the world. Catch rattata, spend twelve years training rattata, make it cut down entire armies with Hyper Fang. Or, go on happy pokemon journey till I find a legendary. Execute rattata plan.

Boardgamegeek has a hugh community of boardgamers and a massive amount of information. BTW none of the games mentioned at the top of the list are considered to be very good by today's board game standards. There are some really great games out there now. Fantasy Flight is one company about to publish Civilization the Board Game.

Enough of your wretched opinion-forcing. We can like whatever we like, and today's standards can go screw themselves. Out, demon!

posted a message on More uses for obsidian
    this thread needs more darts.
obsidian should shatter into 4 obsidian shards when mined, which can be made into an obsidian block if needed, like snowballs into snow blocks.
The shards could be made into darts by making a torch-like construction, except replacing coal with ob. shards. However, you get 16 darts per torch-structure-thing.

This game gets incredibly boring once you have to build a palisade. Nothing left to do. Everyone sticks to themselves, so community is nonexistent. Game needs improvement for the midgame.

I think we should name the minions Jacks. As in Jack-o-Latern.

Anyway, perhaps Jacks could be built with stronger and stronger armor?
