Although, I do not like the current Ghast skin. I think the Poe concept you had would be MUCH better, and I really am not liking the skeleton, but I can manage. Don't forget to update for 1.6! :biggrin.gif:

I like the idea of maps, but won't they make compasses a bit obsolete?
Not really. I think while maps would be very useful, I'd still use a compass when adventuring out. The map would be useful to planning, but I think a compass would still be useful for navigation.

There are no tough fighting situations. I just grab a sword and beat the **** out of them.
Yeah, because creepers won't explode if you run up and try to "beat the **** out of them." Right. Not to mention it's not exactly easy to attack a skeleton with a sword.
I've only been playing since Beta 1.4, so as you can clearly tell I am a new school player from the start.
I don't use charcoal though, only coal. And I don't care for wolves very much. They just kill off all my sheep and I prefer to have my sheep running around, alive, so I can steal their wool and laugh at them in person.
More ores. (Different metals, I guess)
More animals. (Like birds, vultures that snatch up items if you don't get them quick enough?)
As Notch has stated before, NPC stuff, like goblins and the like would be pretty cool.

I do this with my friends sometimes. Usually it's between me and my pal who both play MineCraft, vs. everyone else there who doesn't.
Me: So I killed the pig, and got 2 porkchops. So I ran back to my house and watched out for a creeper along the way, and cooked them.
Him: Yeah, I don't make cooked porkchops anymore. I eat other stuff, like cookies and the like. Did you open your portal to the Nether yet? Even though I don't use porkchops, I like to torment the zombie pigmen a lot.
Never ragequitted. Nothing THAT bad has ever happened to me to make me ragequit. Granted, once i almost lost 3 diamonds, 2 iron pick-axes, a bunch of redstone, and some other stuff, but I was able to trace my steps back to that gravel trap that nearly made me lose all of it, and I got it back. :biggrin.gif: Oh, and there was the time a creeper blew up the front of my house and then another 2 blew up a couple rooms of my castle, but it's all good.
That's the good thing about MineCraft, it's not something that would make me ragequit. Super Mario Bros. 3, on the other hand, has sent me flying out of the room cursing Heaven and hell because of some goomba. :sad.gif:

Everything must be picked up, I cannot leave items out on the ground, even if I don't need them.

I would never build my house out of wood. Too flammable and just plain out ugly.
