Semi-translucent textures don't work so good in minecraft.
Slimes, water, clouds, what exactly doesn't "work so good" about them?
That said, I'm really undecided on anything about the Endermen, besides their name. I think translucent Endermen would be cool, but I think solid ones work just as well.
On the server that I play on, not far from spawn there is a wide sea consisting of very steep and tall sand/sandstone/stone islands. It's quite pretty.
However, it's nowhere near as big as your seed in this thread. That's just amazing. I can see why a Great Sea texture pack would work well here. :wink.gif:
I used to love singleplayer. That was pretty much all I played. Then I started to play on a cool server with some nice people, and now all I play is multiplayer.
Didn't read the thread, I don't know if others have come to this conclusion, but the chicken theory and this are related.
See, the chickens make mobs go after you and the wolves, thus making the wolves need the pork, thus pushing you further into vegetarianism. So really, the chickens are just a helper plot to the mass vegetarian plot. I'm a vegetarian IRL, so it won't affect me, but we must stop the supposedly "passive" chickens and supposedly "allied" wolves!
That Godcraft video was pretty cool. Great job with editing.
On the server that I usually go on, I have a Sandcrawler, like from Star Wars, and it's somewhat "epic" I guess. But you may beg to differ, it's nowhere near as cool as GodCraft. When the map on the server is back, I'll try to get some screenshots.

In a way, they do act like Redeads, staring you, making you NOT move, just like how Redeads paralyze you OoT or WW.

It just adds that "pure MineCraft" feel. With humans it feels more like a mod, or just some odd spawning event.

Castle were made out of brick though, just not clay brick.
Also, blacksmith shop? I don't know what you could do with them otherwise. Why bother making them if you don't have a point for them?

Anyways, if you really feel the need to fill them up, dirt, or sugarcane if you want something you can craft with.
