To begin, I'd say that you should use custom trees appose to the regular minecraft trees, you should also add more tenure variants. Overall, it's a pretty good build.
I think always having a defiant volcano is a bit of a problem because sometimes booms are like 12-50 blocks in size and there wouldn't be enough room for a volcano, so if there was a large enough area for a full sized volcano then I believe there should be a 75% chance of the volcano spawning and 45% chance of it spawning with the chests. The large numbers are due to how rare the biome would be.
I have some ideas, when the Fire dancer is hit it would move left and right, or if it had it's child following him/her and they'd start moving left and right if they were in your render distance, also you never mentioned how they attack and what damage it deals. So I'd say they would shoot fireballs like ghasts but the explosion would have a smaller radius because it would have a second attack, it would melee hit you doing 3 damage (1 1/2 hearts). And also, when there is a volcano there's a 15% chance of a small volcano spawning max height of eighteen blocks and a minimum of 4) and without a volcano there's a 95% chance of a small volcano spawning, but same logic only if there's space.
honestly do what is comfortable, if you like a western feel use lots of blocks that aren't comfy to sit on if your making a regular modern house make it practical
Minecraft is fine yes there is killing but really all you hear is moo, baa, oink, ack, crunch, and other sounds with no gore involved and one sound per animal/ monster and honestly it's up to you, because it is a sand box game so really just advise what your child does in game but honestly watch a few videos about minecraft, ex: famous youtube stampylongnose.
Alright, so the Wiki already informs us that, oddly enough, maps currently don't work in The End. That means this picture appears on the surface to confirm only that maps are going to become a bit more useful.
HOWEVER, my deduction is that there's a few more secrets hidden in this screenshot. Look a little closer, there are brown rectanguloids on one part of the rim of the off-center island, and those things aren't widespread enough to be chorus plants! I think those brown pixels hint at a new structure. I mean, why else would they be in Jeb's screenshot?
Think about it; chorus plants don't generate in small insignificant bunches like that, and there's no way Jeb would be building random pillars with in-game Minecraft controls if he was just going to move away from them and take a single screenshot with something else heavily overshadowing it. We already know that Mojang Co aren't letting on any information until Minecon, but I know they just love slipping grains of sand through the gap under the door (I think it also directly happened in a recent tweet). I really think those dots near the center wouldn't exist if they didn't mean something.
There's also random shadowy things around some of the edges of some islands, but I don't think that's anything other than the map's render style.
