When using Recurrent Complex I disabled all of the additional village structures but every world has extended village pathways with regularly spaced lamp posts as if the buildings would still generate. Is there any way to disable this behaviour?
For some reason, whenever Pech is trying to spawn on my world, my game crashed. Not sure if this is true, but since I saw something like "entityPech" on the log before the crash report is produced, I assume that's the cause of the problem.

Any content is better than none. This game has been around since 2009, be glad it hasn't died out completely yet.
My personal issues are with changes that can't ignore i.e. The combat update. Minecraft's theme is constantly shifting and because of that always feels wrong.
I don't think I can bring myself to use 1.13 when it comes out because of a full on ascetic change. While it will harmonise the textures into one style it breaks the iconic style that was before it and I don't want to play a game that looks different to everyone else's especially if I want to make something that other people want to use.
People will always have a worse reaction to changes in the game and additions will be more mixed reaction. Changing textures is just that, a change it doesn't add anything new to the game and implies something is taken away in exchange. You could always install a texture pack for the purpose that this fills (They knew the textures where quite bad) and is just asking for people to get upset.
Minecraft has some mobs, that unlike pigs and skeletons, appear to be partially or completely unique. With this in mind what would you say some of the creatures such as blazes or ghasts are?
I thought of this question after watching a YouTube video that described endermen as eldritch creatures. Afterwards I started to attempt to attribute other traits to the various creatures found in Minecraft and struggled so I'm attempting to enlist the help of the community.

I am in favour of removing the magic dust.
The mod is fantastic, but consumes a lot of resources.
Perhaps, when the developer make it less heavy we can bring it back?
For now, I think the mod should be removed because it is contributing to the lag.

There's apparently a little problem with the server, in that it doesn't appear that squid are spawning at all. Now, this wouldn't be such a big deal if ink sacs weren't so crucial for progression in both Ars Magica 2 AND Thaumcraft 4.
That happened before i don't know how they fixed it but before you had to look for a long time to find squid

this is probably caused by the hats mod. Check the main page and in the change log it shows the known issues and how to resolve the pech - hats issue.
