Well after downloading you have a .zip file, which you have to extract to somewhere, yes.
If you didn't do this then we (or actually you :biggrin.gif: ) found the cause of your problem.
Edit: Ah, just saw your nevermind, glad it's fixed now. :biggrin.gif:
Euhm, that's rather strange. Could you give me some more information? What OS are you using, does it give you any error, what exactly you are trying to do etc.
I can add favourites fine, and they get saved as well, same with the settings. :/
I am aware of the bug which doesn't allow the application to retrieve the information from mcserverlist.net .
This is a bug of mcserverlist.net where I can't do much about, sorry.
The next version of this application will contain proper handling in case this ever happens again. Until then I can only advise you to use the offline mode.
It is for Minecraft beta only.
Well, theoretically you could use the favourites function to save classic servers as well, but you could not use the features like connecting to the servers, so it'd be pretty worthless.
Little heads up: I'm working on support for different languages and user-made translations at the moment. After I've done this I'll add a server history.
You can expect a new release with these two features in the next two weeks.
Thanks for your feedback, this shows me that all the time I spent on this wasn't "wasted". :smile.gif:
And yes you're right, the server port was not getting copied over correctly. It will be fixed in the next update, which will also bring a history of visited servers. (Probably in a week or so.)
Version 2.2.0 is out
You can now search the serverlist for either the name or the IP of a server.
Added a function to check for updates. Press "Check for updates" in the main menu bar.
If you press the button to start Minecraft and are not using the auto-connect feature of this app, it will automatically save the ip of the selected server in the connect textfield of Minecraft.
Increased the timeout duration. This way it should be possible to access the data from mcserverlist.net even when it is under heavy load. This is only a temporary solution, the owner of MCserverlist.net is working on improving performance.
Fixed a bug which caused a crash when adding favourites.
Fixed a bug which did not display the correct server when adding favourites.
Yeah, I thought about this as well. I'll add it in with the next version, expect it to get released in the weekend.
Some other things which will be done then:
A function to check wheter a update is available.
Possibility to add a URL to a forum thread and/or a website of your favourites.
You will however not be able to use the filters yet. This requires additions to the API I use to get the data currently. I already talked with the guys at mcserverlist.net , but it seems they are quite busy at the moment.

What happens if you try to launch Automap.exe?
P.S. AutoMap 0.5.0.3 needs Modloader 4. AFAIK Modloader 5 isn't supported yet.

Click on this button to add a favourite of your own.
You're right, you can't add a website right now, it will work with the next update. The description however should work.
