So there should be something you make from planks or logs that acts like lily pads where it floats on the water and bobs up and down, so you could make like floating houses with pontoon walkways.
-snip-
They should be called pontoons and look like sideways logs (kind of) .
Thats better, I fixed it so there aren't mistakes in grammar, punctuation or spelling.
Also why not just use lily-pads?

I think we've now reached a state where you can read this post without starting to scream.
As for what Epikal has said my windows username does indeed have an "!" in it but that seems to be a rather glaring and unreasonable issue for java to have. I will attempt your other suggestions though thank you.
Why do you think you know what might prevent Java from working and what not? I can assure you that was Epikal said is indeed the cause of your issue. Create a new user account and you should be fine.

Sentences about myself:
I am currently playing on the Minecraft server of lethal-zone.eu, and that server will most likely stay the server I frequent the most. I am however interested in your server for the sake of some change every now and then. In Minecraft itself I'm mainly interested in the "practical" uses of redstone, meaning I prefer building a hidden door over a working rubic's cube. When it comes to stuff other than Minecraft I'm doing some work with the .NET framework as a hobby, as well as playing some games every now and then. Since two months or so you may also find me in IRC quite a lot.
I didn't spam the button, just pressed it twice. :tongue.gif:
I think you could counter it like this: (Just a quick thought, so it's possible that it's more complicated than it has to be):
1) The clock, running independently, all the time.
2) A RS NOR latch (or similar) which will be activated by the button
3) And AND gate, which activates the piston if both the RS NOR latch and the clock send power.
This way the pistons will start moving as soon as the button is pressed. And no matter how often you press the button it WILL keep on moving, since the RS NOR latch will just ignore the future inputs. It surely requires some more effort this way, but it might make your map more 'idiot-proof'. :biggrin.gif:
Heh, really liked your map and puzzle design. :smile.gif:
One thing though, I was able to open the front iron doors of the prison by simply putting a button next to them. You might want to secure these doors by a) placing them 'the other way' and b (can't put a bracket there cause it'd get replaced by that :cool.gif: smiley) powering them.
Edit: Actually, two things. I was able to somehow break the safety measurements in that corridor by simply pushing the button again. It did then just... stop.
Edit2: Looking at the walkthrough, after that ice-maze, these retracting stairs, same problem there. By just pushing the button again they stopped moving. Seems your redstone ciruit isn't too resistant to a second input. :biggrin.gif:
Might prove a bit hard to pull off without any basic coding skills. :wink.gif:
Your best bet might be to use a mapeditor like MCEdit or its command line version, MCE.
Yes an economic griefing. Servers that have an economy and rely on the players to find the rare'er resources like diamonds would be griefed to hell with this mod.
MOTD is in bukkit servers, in one of the plugins.
I know there is a Fly mod that we can put a certain color code combination in the MOTD and it prevents that mod from being used on SMP. Was hoping to find the same thing here to prevent people ecogriefing the servers.
I know youre about to put out a new version, so i dont know if this will be an issue in it or if i was just doing something wrong before, but anytime i was running this map my world would get corrupted slightly with dirt blocks spawning all over the place and even some floating ores and leaves. I tried searching about this issue and nothing came up, so either no one has run into it or i fail at searching.
You weren't, by any chance, using Zan's Minimap at this time? Because that mod causes the issue you'v describend if you activate threading in singleplayer.

Why don' you just try it?
YES, you can use it. You can not do any actions with the new blocks yet, but all the rest will work just fine.

Mainly for these two reasons:
a) There are that many XRay plugins available that it's nigh impossible to get a way to disable all of them.
Most of these plugins are opensource, meaning you could simply edit the source to remove the part which prevents it from working on certain servers.

Wouldn't help, after all this app is, like Ouroborus said, open source. If you're really concerned about this, then check out this bukkit plugin: http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/sec-antixray-v0-6-10-protecting-ore-from-xray-mod-and-transparent-texturepacks-860.12527/
