Hello, I'm a noob to the forums so I'm sorry if this is done already.
My idea was a mod that toke a option that you toggle for real time combat. What do I mean? I mean if you slash to the side with your mouse the sword moves that way and the speed makes knockback, and this can lead into critical combos like a side slash move mouse up and slam it downwards for a critical bash then swing to the side again and it starts a spin combo by making fluid movements with your mouse. The idea of this mod is for better combat, sure critical bow drawing and sprint >.> woo so exciting. No, this would be. It would be best toggled though in options and hot key too, one drawback of it though would be you only could parry in combat not block and parry knocks back zombies and deflects arrows, creepers would be stunned long enough to follow through with a hilt bash and endermen would be knocked off balance allowing a rapid succession of attacks. Also a neat effect would be xp for more combos and maybe each tool has its own power like a pick does mass damage on downward hits a side slash for axe and charge or stab liek attack for a shovel. I'm sure this sounds like alot, and I am sorry. But come on we made more dimensions more movements more mobs more everything! We can make this happen. If anyone thinks this is good please spread it! Maybe post ideas for the combat or something? video made in an animator showing animations?
So since of 1.0 you can't get ice with silk touch anymore, the reason being so that you can't use it in the Nether. This "fix" is a ******** lazy solution to the problem. I don't want water in the nether, i want to use it for other stuff, like building with it and using it for fast item transport.
A better solution would be making ice sizzle in the Nether just like water does.
how about this instead of bitching and moaning about it like you are make a silk touch pick break a few peices of ice and give it to yourself with TMI or something seriously not that difficult and even so thats not a big issue ' ohhh boo hoo i dont get my items faster and my windows arent blue'

i have seen one it might have been a bug or something but i was in a jungle derping around i only found a baby ocelot no others and i didnt get a pic but i have a clip which i plan to upload to youtube, but i can tell you it is possible to find one, not common though, and when tamed they become kittens. Please dont hate for posting this i just founf one im not trolling you sir or trying to get popular im just letting you know
Hello everyone. I'm new to the forums really and something i noticed is, alot of people hate the new world gen and breeding systems so im putting out my suggestions to notch and jeb. My idea is customizable mineraft! Lets start in the world generating screen, with villages and all there. How about a beta 1.7 and below then alpha generations, with or without new features thrown in as a option as well and animal spawning too for it. Hardcore would be the only forced breeding and hunger though but a normal world you could change it from spawning to breeding or insta heal food without stack or hunger with stacking. Personally i cant decide which is best 1.0 or 1.7 because 1.7 has epic structures and cool terrain and some more sensible bugs and 1.0 has cool strongholds and sprinting and better combat. Over all this is a petition sort of to make it so everyone is happy about minecraft and can change whatever they like about it or dont. Please dont be mad at me for this i just want my old epic maps back in the new features, aka 404 glacier Bogota and other cool maps. Lets be honest you see any epic 1.0 seeds with mountains floating and mass caverns? the terrain in 1.0 is flat or too hard to travel across mountains. so please jeb give us the choice?
Umm im not a modder, nor the smartest person but i just wanted to speak up for my thoughts on 1.0. Its dull. I think someone could make a option in the create a world thing to have a old gen code to get all the epic structures and seeds like '404' and Bogota even Glacier because lets face it, biomes are flat and simple now, theres no beaches, no random floating blocks, no sky islands, no anything interesting but mountains which are just round
A good idea for this is to give a magnifying glass or something to make you smaller too or atleast see your mini creations closer up, like a ship in a bottle to do the details
this looks pretty cool, but i just cant find any scenarios in which i would use it.
simple you got your little house and you wanna expand use this to make a model to be sure you got enough to make the real thing since when you break a mini block you get a normal one back

I needed a change from my single player adventure maps are fun but minecraft gets boring alone hell even greifers spark up minecraft a bit, don't worry im not a greifer.
If you are the owner then well consider it out for two reasons 1: towns and structure already made
2: unreliable members(i tested it several killed me for no reasons one was using fly mod god mode xray vision and all were stealing my things
this isnt pvp its a survival lp
Theres not much to say me and my friend Azure_Knight_IV need some help with getting a server since i couldnt get one up right. We cant pay anything but youll be welcome in the lets play and be mentioned in every video we just wanted to try to start one and see how it went. How else do people get popular after all? So please if you can help we dont really have requirements since we are begging but a simple default or bukkit would be nice essentials plugin too would be very nice but again no requirements. Please help if you can.
How long you have played minecraft:Since roughly beta 1.2.2 I believe.
Which job, and why? Miner or builder, wither will work. I like to build things aswell as enjoy a calm mining trip and I generally am good at mining out underground areas like secret council rooms, monster traps, underground peace rooms of false grass and trees. Basically I combine the two at O.K. levels.
Why you deserve to be in this Faction: I have nothing for me I like how this server seems and seems suited for me well and ok. If anything I can use TNT and a pickaxe right.

Other: I'm joining my first clan here so I would like it to be a great and friendly experience for a first time smp time. And again I can atleast be a temporary help with underground building and monster and farm animal mob traps. I can also make a slime trap for piston powered gates.
