That seed, "23998886688", produces the largest ocean I've seen since 1.7.2 came out.
Spawn is on a small but forested island with one birch tree and about 8 oaks.
Spawn on the map below is correct.

Boring? Not if you have a healthy imagination. Start by getting WorldEdit, which will automate most repetitive tasks, like building shapes quickly, moving blocks, stacking structure elements that are repeated, and so on.
I always create a teleportation hub at 0 75 0 that has multiple teleporters to all the distant areas where I build. The actual building can be any shape. Then, create the teleporters:
• Type /give yourname command_block.
• Place a command block one level below the floor of the building.
• Right click on the command block, then type tp yourname x y z ("x y z" are, obviously, the coordinates you want to teleport to), then click "done."
• Place a block atop the command block, and a weighted heavy pressure plate atop that.
• When you step on the pressure plate, you'll be teleported to the coordinates you specified in the command block.
• Don't forget to make a teleporter back to your teleportation hub at the site of each structure. If you do, you can always type /tp yourname 0 75 0.
Then, let your imagination loose. Some of the structures I'm working on in creative mode:
• A beanstalk stretching up through the clouds to a village.
• A partially-sunken castle.
• A town with canals instead of roads.
• A Christmas village with oversized themed decorations.
• A steampunk city in the sky built atop giant gears.
• A multiple-biome city with buildings built of the appropriate materials.
• A city where each building is an oversized Minecraft block.
• Three cities of interconnected glass domes...one on land, one underwater, and one in the sky.

Even if there is no money involved, seeing one's work claimed by another is always infuriating.
The problem is less a matter of who owns the IP (has thereby standing to take action), than that the cost of legal action vs the probable recovery is prohibitive.
The best defense against this kind of thing I've yet seen is to get the word out concerning the person/site doing the unauthorized reselling; it won't stop the theft (it won't even stop them making money because people pay for freely available stuff all the time), but you'll at least have the credit and appreciation you're due among the creative community.
Something that's a bit of a needed precursor to this is to make sure you can prove your authorship.
If I am correct in my understanding of the IP you created, you might try this method;
I assume there are some fairly large areas of the builds that are solid. Within one or more of these areas (preferably one unlikely to be mined through) encode your name.
As an example: you could use an 8x6 area of granite and diorite to encode the ASCII for Kiwi91 — even if someone did mine through the area, they would be unlikely to notice [If, by chance, they do; just call it an Easter Egg ]
Alternately, you could use a pattern of bedrock at level 5 for the same purpose.
For smaller builds (like your houses) or where secrecy about the build contents is not desirable, posting pictures of the builds from your private world in the forum showcase before building them publicily could be used to establish the date of your build (if not necessarily its originality).
The point of all this is to get you your deserved credit with minimal hassle. (A bonus is that this acts as a landmine for the thief, he'll never know when someone may stumble across your freely posted version of what he sold them — a circumstance most unlikely to lead to any repeat business )

I don't like building with no custom blocks or no easy mechanics: The redstone's mechanics are hard.

There are more than two survival islands located to the south of the spawn, but the two mentioned have villages with blacksmiths.

Village #1: 216 824
Village #2: 536 696

I suggest that you download Amidst v4.3beta2, run it, select a VANILLA profile for the PCMC version you prefer, and start hitting Ctrl-R. (the link is in my signature)
That will cause Amidst to display the biome map of random seeds.
Hint: Place Amidst in it's own folder and create an empty file in that folder named "history.txt".
When Amidst starts up it will detect that file and from then on will create a log of every seed that it displays.
That way, if you hit Ctrl-R too quickly you can find out what the seed was of the previous map and redisplay it.
Ctrl-H gives you the seed input dialog.
I use Notepad++ as my default text editor.

You already have a means for players to add their text to notice boards - would it be possible for players to add their own logos to decorative banners, or possibly other decorative items?
Just a thought.

This may seem a silly question but how do I create a new amidst profile?
AHH! it is OK Got it!
Create a new Minecraft profile using 10.2 then use this with Amidst.
