I just found out that you can change your username here, just scroll down to the part where they talk about usernames and click on the email, then you can ask them to change it. There's one road out, do you choose to take it?
Silly me sent them an email a few days ago, only to realise I set up this account with a different email (I switched emails like a year ago.) But I resent the email and fixed it up so I'm now just awaiting a reply!!
I think personally people do it because either one, it's a trend with some people, or that they do it because there username is already taken.
One way to tell (from my experience) is:
If it's Xx[name]xX or xX[name]Xx, it's the trend.
If it's something like [name]xX, [name]x, or xX[name], it's cus the username was taken.
It's not a big difference visually, but there's different reasoning.
When it's on both sides, it's just kind of "edgy" looking (sighing at 11 year old me making usernames).
When it's on one side, it's because it doesn't really draw away from the main name, and it's less annoying than numbers.
That's just my experience with it. I have friends, and then myself, who did/do the X thing for a lot of different reasons.
Hahahaha, cats. There's only one dog I really connect with and she's my grandparents' dog. She's really nice, but I don't exactly subscribe to the slobber... My cat on the other hand, the fur embedded in my clothing just keeps me that much warmer, man.
A few weeks ago I saw this guy on the pavement. He was sitting in a wheelchair that had some cardboard signs in the wheels (I couldn't read what they said) and he was like, using his feet? Like you would scoot a rolling chair to a desk, he was doing that, down the pavement.
I'm a really embarrassing person in general. I've never gone a day at school where I haven't been completely embarrassed of myself by the end of the day. :/ It's usually just the small stupid things I do, but sometimes I mess up big time (and it's probably only just "big" to me) and I just... ugh.
I guess one that happens the most is, difficulties with food. I always seem to miss my mouth, y'know?
A dice with sides so numerous there don't seem to be "sides." It's practically an orb. You roll it and it acts like a ball. It just keeps rolling. Off the table, across the hardwood floor. The numbers are so small that they're hardly dots on the nearly rounded surface. But in a single moment, there is balance. It has stopped.
You heart sinks. You can't see the number. No one can.

Have you received the initiation carrot?

That's because you grew up and took a look at the world.

I didn't realise what was happening and I just opened up seven different tabs of your signature...
