Battle Snow is a brand new Minecraft server with tons of explosions! The server is a paintball server running a custom plugin made right for Battle Snow. Everyone is invited to have fun and play paintball with their friends! Our best feature is that BattleSnow's paintball plugin is fully custom-coded by its administration team. That means any suggestions and ideas may be included. We consider the community's input very important and will make sure to give credit for the best ideas submitted! Just post anything you can think of in this thread. Because of this, the server is full of interesting features like custom music, custom maps, rank progression, shops and much more!
What is a Paintball Server?
A paintball server is an objective/minigame type of server where teams of players are put against each others in an instastab arena where your ammo is a bunch of Minecraft snowballs. You don't need any client-side mod or custom launcher. Simply get on with your default Minecraft client and play! There's no whitelist, no hassle, just a hell lot of combat and explosions!

LIFETIME Donor Status
We, of course, need donations to keep the server alive and upgrade it in the future. Therefore, we have a very simple system of donation: LIFETIME Donations. Basically, you only donate once 4$ and you get a nice collection of additional features:
Hey man, love this mod. Like... seriously. This thing puts the default anvil to shame. I'm glad you are still updating it.
There is a bug though. Whenever you "mine" a regular [this mod's] anvil, it drops a reinforced anvil instead. All of the other ones seem to be working normally. This is letting me skip actually making the reinforced anvil, which feels like cheating. (Even though technically using any mod is considered "cheating" most times, and especially since this one lets you repair infinitely after a decent initial investment, but I think the current repair / enchanting system is bonkers anyways. So nyah.)
Rambling over. So to recap, this is what is happening:
4 Iron Blocks -> Make Anvil -> Place Anvil -> Mine Anvil -> Get Reinforced Anvil -> Save 4 Diamonds and 4 Iron Blocks.
Other than that, I think it is still going good so far. Keep up the good work!

Alright, alright, the thread is not dead. For those that are having difficulties with my mods when they install them on their servers, please note that they are not SMP compatible.
I'm just upgrading now to 1.4.7 and I encountered an issue. (not sure if it will go away when I finish installing all of the other mods) but basically when I put in Tool Repair, the anvils have no graphics. I double checked and my Texture Pack has the same exact files for graphics as the mod does so that cant be it. (forge 6.6.x.499 at the moment.)

OK. First, I'm pretty sure Notch knows what he's doing. Why would he ruin his game by adding a pointless levelling system? Plus, he never said that saves will get deleted. Stop inventing things PLEASE.

I 'think' that ToolRepair is compatible with Forge since it was compatible with the last version and you can put the .zip in your /mods/ folder
