    Hey hey! I don't frequent these forums often, but since 0.0.3.1 released today I figured I'd make a new post with some information on the latest additions.


    One of the most exciting being bobtail cats! With their adorable little nub tails.





    Now the biggest changes came in version 0.0.3.0, including catnip as a crop, food/water bowls, litter boxes, scratching posts, and a cat data book!

    One of my personal favorite additions (one Joel asked for months ago! lol) would be the new attack AI cats have along with their customizable prey list. Check out this gif featuring the Rats mod!! Don't worry though, your tamed rats will of course be safe.





    I'm going to leave a few things out of this post for everyone to discover on their own while playing with Simply Cats. I look forward to continuing to grow this mod, and I can't wait to share with everyone what is coming next!

    For a very, very long time the cats of Minecraft have been neglected. This mod aims to change that, breathing a whole new life into the soft little fluff balls of hate.

    As of this moment, the mod is fairly bare boned! You will find a ton of different colored cats, even right down to their eye color, but they don't do anything except breed like bunnies. Shouldn't the saying be breed like cats anyways? If you have any interest in the future of this mod, please feel free to take a look at the trello board!     Getting Started


    The very first thing you want to do is craft yourself a pet carrier or two... or more! Pet carriers will not break and do not stack, but they will only hold one pet at a time so make sure you have plenty to bring your adopted cats home in! Cats do not follow you by themselves, so these pet carriers will keep you sane trying to get home from a village.

    Now you can set out on your mission to find these adoptable cuties! In almost every village, you will find a new structure that we will call the Pet Shelter. With this new building comes a new villager as well! You can easily tell them apart by their cute yellow smock with a golden paw print on the front.


    This villager has extra special trades for you that will cost a certain number of raw fish or bones! Cats from the villager trade are never spayed/neutered, so they will breed if given the opportunity to. Remember, the carrier these pets come from are only temporary and will disappear once you release the pet inside.



    There are also a few shelter pets inside! 1-3 dogs and 1-3 cats, all available for adoption with this mod's adoption certificate. Crafted with one paper and one ink sac, you can use it on the cat or dog you'd like to adopt! Shelter pets are always spayed/neutered, which means they cannot breed.



    Congratulations! That's all there is to it. Now be sure to read up on the wiki for special item uses to get more information about your cats, and the most important section: breeding!

    There are plans to update this mod for newer versions of Minecraft! A fabric 1.16 port is already in the works.

    Multi-block cat trees! Will come in all wool colors and each piece is its own block.

    The "real version" is the version that AngryGroudon linked for you, which you can also find from the website linked on the first, main post of this thread. However, this is ZAWA: Rebuilt, and it currently does not include the orangutans and sloths from the very first, old version of ZAWA. That old version specifically is no longer supported.


    That aside, I think you'll be happy to hear that sloths, among a few other classic ZAWA animals, are being added to ZAWA: Rebuilt 2.0! Almost every Sunday (when possible) we reveal a new animal that is going to be added to this 2.0 version on our Twitter and Discord. Check them out!

    posted a message on Mo' Creatures - v12.0.0 for Minecraft 1.12.1!! Now Opensource!!

    Hello! I am really loving this new update. The new big cat models are definitely a... change, to say the least. They lost their simplicity, but there is no denying that they are magnificent, along with their Manticore counterpart.


    I have a small- very small- grievance with the Panthers, although. I'm not 100% sure if it has been brought up before (I tried searching this thread, couldn't find much of a topic on it), but a "panther" isn't technically a new species of big cat. They are simply just variants of Leopards and Jaguars, depending upon their region. I would actually love to see that implemented into this mod instead of how it is now. Something akin to how the White Tigers and White Lions work.


    Thank you so much for your amazing work on this mod. It has, and will remain, one of my all time favorite mods. <3

    Just wanted to answer your question, as I've done some digging and apparently this server is still a thing. xD That modpack link is outdated, though, and they don't have a new one. An announcement was just released on their enjin website (here) with a screen shot of the mods required to join the server.

    The modpack link there has most of the mods in it, but it has some that need to be removed and some that need to be added. If you want to go through the process of that, of course. xP It's not easy, but there aren't many servers I've found with Witchery, so I thought I'd give it a shot, maybe some others will, too. c;

    Hi! So, I've just gotten into this mod, courtesy of LittleLizardGaming's Youtube videos titled "How to Train Your Dragon," and I noticed some bugs in my game that they didn't seem to have in their's. Now, I have no idea what version of the game they used, so I just installed the most recent, r41, assuming that it would play just as well as LittleLizardGaming's version if not better.


    Anyways, the two bugs that I noticed were, one, my (fire) dragon will not "sit" when I right click her with a bone in hand, and two, she completely disregards fences. So I cannot keep her safely in a pen nor can I have her stay in one place, which overall causes a big hassle in trying to not to lose her.


    I haven't noticed anything else since I quit playing to see if I could find a solution, but if something else comes up I'll be sure to report. In the meantime, I'd love to know if maybe these bugs are due to a mod incompatibility or if there's some way of fixing them?
