Those vampires are damn scary. Story basically goes your a Crusader that was wounded and got sent home, you **** off some vampires, they try to kill you, another group of vampires bites you and forces you to join them, you be all badass and stuff up until the point where you get owned and have to "hibernate" for a real long time. AKA until the modern era.
Point is, that is a old game, and it has damn scary vampires. Ones that would be able to beat up the sissy Twilightesque ones that are flooding movies and stuff now.

Why do you want to join: I wish to get this clan started back up again, but I also want to have fun in a PvP environment whilst helping other people/ killing them (depends). I believe I have some experience with minecraft, but I've never really worked together with other people to accomplish goals.

The Silver Blades is a new semi-aggressive PvP clan in the making. We currently need alot of members, since we can't really do PvP with only 4 people that are never on together. Also, all administration positions are open, so try and grab them while you can!
About us.
The Silver Blades is was a very succesful clan with a peak of around 30 members from around a year ago that was abandoned due to our PvP server, Project Art Of War's hard-drive melted and was discontinued. After that, all but around three of us quit and we couldn't manage to stand back up. This thread is what I believe to be the greatest chance for us to stand back up, since I can address the problems that arised last time, and come out stronger.
Ranks
We have a wide variety of roles for players with different skillsets. We encorage people to join the military, or just stay as a civillian; both are equally important. After all, civilians are the ones that feed and arm us.
Military
Joining the military can be a promising future for you. You will be trained with a bow, and there is daily sparring practice and weekly sparring tournaments. You also may preform live combat with our enemies; either at home or on their doorstep. The ranking system is simple yet effective, as there are no confusing "realistic military ranks" or whatever.
Recruit: Your rank at the very beginning. You are not officially part of a squad until you receive basic training, and advance to a Private.
Private: If you become skilled enough in either archery or melee, you may be promoted. You can join squads, with the squad leaders permission.
Corporal: This rank is given to soldiers that show promising combat skill in both archery and melee, they are known to be able to handle themselves in a fight.
Specialist: A hard rank to obtain, you have shown yourself to be extremely skilled in either melee or archery. At this rank, we can trust you enough to go on special assignments should they pop up.
Sergant 2nd class: You basically co-lead a squad, you will take the Sergeants role should he die in the middle of combat.
Sergant 1st class: Same as sergant 2nd class, but you are the leader of a squad.
Civillian
For those of you who either do not like fighting, or would rather do something less violent. You basically gather materials and store them for the military/builders to use later. Also, please know that you are not limited to your job; builders can mine in their spare time, for example.
Farmer: You farm papyrus, cactus, and most importantly; wheat. Your side-jobs also include killing and cooking pigs.
Miner: You mine for ore and stone. You also help in flattening land, and digging bases.
Builder: You build cities, towns, fortresses; anything that the governement orders.
The Administration
Our government is a mix of alot of systems, so instead of listing them all, I will just say this: the government is run by 5 people(mainly); the Commanding Officer, the Minister of Security, Commander Of the Army, Head Of Personnel, and the Minister Of Supply. Also, for your convenience, the list is ordered in seniority; if I somehow am away, the Minister Of Security will take over. If he is away, then the Commander Of the Army will take over, and so on.

Ah yes, basically who the clan likes and doesn't like. Any clan that attacks us will automatically be labeled as a enemy, however for us to declare a war, atleast 2/3rds of the council must agree. Allies are a different story, if a clan becomes a invaluable asset to us, there may be a vote, but for someone to be a official ally, all the government and 70% of the members must agree. Non-aggression pacts basically means no stabbing; we won't declare war on you, and we expect you to do the same.

The Silver Blades a PvP clan that died out a while back, mainly due to a spiral that was caused by our PvP server kind of "melting". Anyways, I am going to revive this clan, ironing out the faults that arised in the old clan, so we may come out stronger.
Ranks
We have a wide variety of roles to appeal to many different skill sets and preferences. Our members can be separated into three groups: Administration, Military and Civilian. Civilians will not be asked to fight, just don't cry when your house gets destroyed due to a fight between us and our enemies. In the next few sections I will elaborate.
Administration
Our government is kind of hard to describe. It consists of a council, with a elected leader; much like Rome, but slightly more balanced, since as we all know, having a evil dictator is not fun. In this clan, there is no such thing as "personal possessions", as that usually just leads to theft and trust issues. Instead, a common resource pool will be made available to members; your hoe broke while farming? Drop off your crops and pick a new one up, etc.
Commanding Officer:

The Commanding Officer is in charge of all the other administrators. He is the person that organizes the clan, and directs other administrators. If I am being totally evil and mean/I leave(I wouldn't do that now, would I?) then if a majority of 70% of our active members agree, the next ranking administrator will take up the position. The Commanding Officer also promotes members to administrators.
General of the Army
This administrator is in charge of any offensive action. He commands every single aspect of the military alongside the Minister of Security to formulate the best mix between offence and defense. The General of the Army is also the second in command, and will replace the Commanding Officer if (s)he is not there.
Minister of Security
The Minister of Security is responsible for both internal and external security; meaning he is suppost to root out spies, as well as commanding the defending forces of our fortresses. He is the third in command, and will be in charge of leading the clan if for some reason both the CO and the General are unavailable.
Head of Personnel
The Head Of Personnel's role is to manage recruitment and promotions, as well as screening new members.
Logistics Manager
The Logistics Manager is in charge of our most important commodity; supplies. he brokers trade agreements, manages base stockpiles, and almost all of the civilian sector.
Military
Our military really isn't that complicated. No fancy "realistic modern military ranks", but a slightly more simplified version of them. Higher ranked members, asides from the name, vary between rank.
Initiate: A new recruit that has yet to prove that he is ready to fight. You have access to training equipment, food, and all low-level resource caches. Some people may find it insanely hard to pass this rank, others may ind this a breeze and pass through in no time.
Requirements for promotion:
-None; this is the default rank you get as military.
Soldier: A member who has basic understanding of the combat system, and is now formally in the military. He is assigned a squad, and may train for further promotions.

-Demonstrated his knowledge of our chain of command
-Has done basic combat and movement training
Knight: A middle-level soldier who has proven himself a strong warrior, as well as the mastery of several advanced tactics.
Requirements for promotion:
-Proven himself a skillful warrior or archer.

Paladin: A paladin is someone who has truely proven to be a great asset to The Silver Blades, either by extreme loyalty, or combat prowess. I'm not just going to promote ANYONE to this level, so if you see one, you might want to think about what this title really means.
Requirements for promotion:
-Proven extreme loyalty.
-Has mastered almost every aspect of combat
Now onto the commanding roles; these are the people who actually lead squads. Allow me to take a short moment to explain the military structure. At the head, there is the General and the Minister of Security. Followed by them are Elder Paladins, who lead a squad of six people. In this squad is a High Paladin, who helps command the squad, and is to take over if the Elder Paladin dies. Then there are four regular troops with the squad, along with additional specialists if needed.
High Paladins: The first step to leadership, they have proven to have a grasp on tactics, how to command a squad, as well as being decently good at combat. They provide more flexibility to the Elder Paladin, and will take his position if he is killed. Take this role like a test; if you have shown yourself a good commander, you will be promoted to a Elder Paladin.
Requirements for promotion:
-Extreme loyalty.
-Proven mastery at almost every aspect of combat.
-Has a grasp of leadership and tactics.
-Passes an interview with the Council.
Elder Paladin: A High Paladin who has proven his ability to lead extremely well. He now has full command of a squad, and will receive assignments directly from the General or the Minister of Security.

-All High Paladin requirements.
-Mastery of leadership and tactics.
-Passes a final interview with the council.
Civilians: Well, you don't fight, but you do pick a role that you do for the clan. You are important; you feed us, and arm us. For the most part, the military designs forts, but you can also join in if you want to. During peacetime, all military personnel are assigned a location, and will function as part civilian, part military until further notice. It is quite simple as to what roles you can pick; farmers, miners and lumberjacks.

Ohhhh, this is the part where we tell you who we don't like, and who we do. If you attack us, you will be labeled as an enemy. For us to declare war on you, we need to have a vote where atleast 65% of members agree to declare the war. Non-Aggression Pacts means that we won't attack you, and you won't attack us. Allies are other groups that have proven themselves very helpful; even enough so for us to have a military alliance.

IQ isn't a static number. A two year old that can do 2x2 would likely have a IQ of 200, while a 12 year old that could do 2x2 would likely have the IQ of a vegetable. My numbers are probably really messed up, but it's just an example.
