When the planets align in perfect harmony with the ley lines of the earth and the druid priests chant their ancient ritual at the zenith of the full moon.

Or, you know, whenever Kahr gets time in his busy life to update it. One or the other. ;)

No problem, thanks. I just wasn't sure what the deal was, or if something had stopped because of MS buying them out.

Hello. Kind of a noob here with texture packs and the search feature has not helped me.

I use SoarTex, but I noticed that with 1.8, MCPatcher no longer works, so everything kind of looks a little poorer.

Can anybody recomend me any other Patcher? Or do I just drop back to 1.7.10 or whatever it is somehow? Thanks!

    1. This mod is a complete rewrite of EE2 (which had things like the Klein Star you mentioned) as for the equivalent item in EE3, none yet (only Pahimar can answer that one, but he sure has planned something cool for it). The current version so far only has the Minium Stone and quite a bunch of recipes for transmutation as well as the Philosopher Stone (which cannot be obtained yet).

    2. You can NOT create it although I hope like back in the days of EE2, you can transmute Iron into Tin will be added again. As it was very useful when you had an overflow of one resource and you could exchange it for the one needed. If there's no support yet, there will be with an addon for sure. There were some tech addons for EE2 as well.

    Thanks for the info.

Ya, I just want some sort of transmute into tin and copper.

    Hello

I am a noob here so please forgive me for the questions but after about 15 minutes of searching, I figured I would just ask.

    1. Does this current version support something like the Kline Star thing I was playing with or was that a totally different mod? (I have no clue). If it does, what is the equivalent item in EE3?

    2. Can I create Copper and Tin with EE3? What are the recipes?

    Thanks for your time!

I dont think I would play this game without this texture pack. They should use it officially.

The servers being down is annoying, but we can live with it.

However, they should put out an update on what is causing the problen and when they anticipate it will be fixed.

Read my last post in this thread:
    viewtopic.php?f=17&t=139187&p=2049179#p2049179

Specifically, if you are running a 64bit OS, make sure you have both the 32bit and 64bit version of Java installed.

Also, try this bat file that Fooby posted, might work for you:
    Use a .bat file

    "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xms2048M -Xmx2048M -jar C:\Path to your Minecraft.jar"
    or
    "java -Xmx2048m -xms2048 -jar "C:\Your Path To The File\Minecraft.jar"

Could we get a direct link to the 64-bit java?
    Thank you..

    Go to:
    http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Download the one under Windows that says (64 Bit).
Incidentally, I noticed that in Firefox the page is a bit different (It doesn't show 64bit, but says "offline).

Load up your 64bit Internet Explorer (from your Start Menu) and then go to the link I have above and the 64bit version should show for download.

This DL link may also work:
    http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/ ... leId=43883 (for jre-6u23-windows-x64.exe)

The file you need is jre-6u23-windows-x64.exe

use firefox and make sure you have javaw.exe running not javaw.exe *32 when playing minecraft as that means you don't have or are not forcing it to use x64 java.

I found and installed Java 64bit in addition to the 32bit version I already had, and it seems to have stopped the crashing.

are you forcing java to use more ram by launching the game from a .bat file? Did you MANUALLY locate, download and install x64 java if you have an x64 OS (nothing will AUTOMATICALLY give you the x64 version).

-I always start with the Minecraft.exe file that I have in my c:/minecraft DIR. Well, I use a desktop shortcut to it.

-I used the Nineniteinstaller for Java (http://ninite.com/)
