The thing is, you're entitled to your opinion. I don't hold that against you. What I have issue with is you've kept this thread alive for 5 days, even after the issue you mention has been resolved, and yet you haven't said anything different than "Notch owes me what I want because I paid $20 and he has $20000000, he can afford it." You just keep rehashing the same points (most of which are invalid). You stated your position in your OP, you don't need to keep hammering it into the forum every second post. That's what made this entire thread go from a complaint to just plain whining.

tl;dr You said your piece, some people agreed, some people disagreed. Reposting the same complaint over and over doesn't make it any more valid, it just makes it whining.

You didn't even bother to read my posts quoting you on how much of what you said was incorrect You put a ton of words in my mouth and that I don't appreciate, please avoid doing it again for the sake of your color.

and No People kept asking me so I kept answering
and No the issues I have mentioned have not been resolved, Once again please read the thread, Or the Unjumbled part of it.

    Thank you

Also you should read the thread and read my Posts

I didn't make threats, I Openly stated I really didn't want to contact Paypal, I didn't want his account to get in trouble (I still don't) but if it happens it happens, Theirs nothing I can do about it I'm not paypal.

Secondly I haven't provided a single inch of falsified information, I have been fully honest this whole time

once again if you had read my posts, I stated the site been having Issues, Such as not loading, giving errors to me and to others who have voiced, and "I" been having issues with logging in, I didn't say "Everyone" I stated it as "Myself"

I didn't play a card I beta tested more games then you, I was answering a "valid question" and using it as a "comparison"
To the amount of problems "I" have had vs Other games I have tested, even games that where from other indi developers .

Also I never said I was a professional Network admin, so once again you failed to read my posts... I said I am a professional Software Tech/IT BIG Differences..., Yes I Deal with Networking, but that is done by my other tech, I Fix computers/virus's and build them and so fourth... I NEVER stated I was a professional network admin.. So please read before posting.

Also I can't help it I want to respond to your point
    To put it in simple terms you might understand;
You bought a beta version of the game, Mojang made no promise to deliver a completed product. Tough ****.

http://www.minecraft.net/about.jsp at the bottom where it says the Future

I plan on developing Minecraft until it's a finished complete game, with a downloadable client (with fullscreen mode), custom key re mappings and possibly modding support.

^ Is what it says, if he has no plans or isn't promising to fully release the game into a None beta then he needs to "edit" That so it says that.. because This was pulled directly from his site, I included the link...

With all due respect, a annoyed

You have all the hallmarks of a whiner.

You repeatedly tell people that don't agree with your opinion (yes, it's an opinion despite you thinking it's fact) that they don't get the point.

You tell people you're a professional network admin (though I highly doubt you graduated from highschool judging by your tenuous grip on the English language) thinking this will somehow lend weight to your terrible suggestions.

Then you play the "I've beta'd more games than you" card. You actually said "I have beta tested thousands of games in my life". You seriously expect us to believe you tested "thousands" of games? If you're 50, and you tested only a single 1000, that means you tested 20 games a year every year of your life. Let's assume you started testing games at, say, 15 (public game testing didn't exist back then, it was all in-house QA), that increases the number to 30 games a year. More than 2 games a month. When did you get time to study to become the network genius you profess to be?

You make outrageous statements you know aren't true, like there's been login issues for months that have been getting worse. You started out saying it was hours, then a few hours later it was days, half a day later it was weeks, then 4 days after that it was months. You have the typical time keeping skills of a impotent, whining customer that thinks the more you complain the more likely you are to get your way. I deal with people like you everyday.

You continually mention how much money Notch has, like it has any bearing on the matter. This point alone clearly states you have no concept of how a business operates. Throwing money at problems doesn't make them go away.

Then you start in with the idle threats of getting a refund. Well, best of luck with that. When you bought the game you agreed to the terms of sale, which were you are buying this game as is.
As we at Mojang continue to release more complete builds of the game, we will also be reducing the discount gradually until we reach the final version and full price of the product. So the earlier you buy, the better value you get! Although we are very passionate about this project, we cannot guarantee that it will be completed - that's why we offer the discounted price When you purchase the game, you pay for it as it is right now. Future updates are an added bonus.

I have to ask, how did you become a mod/admin? Is this how the mod/admin community treat any user who stands up? I'm not laughing nor do I find this amusing,

I find it insulting that you judge people/myself because of the way I spell you can there fourth Judge every little skill I have, the conversations on this thread have been rather Nice, minus the trolls and flames we have gotten, but it still has been respectful with People who Do Care,

I don't care what you think, Not after the way you just spoke to me, I am a admin of a few sites and we don't act this way to our Users, I would expect proper ethics and so fourth from a Mod/admin team, Heck why are you even quirry about users conversing on a forums that's designed for people to talk!?

I haven't done anything to you, Nor have I broke any rules, if I had this thread would been closed by now, So Please, We don't need any more crap simply for stating how we feel and discussing the matters,

Are you still whining about this? Jesus, we get it, you're pissed you can't play Minecraft, give it a rest.

theirs a differences between whining and Discussing, we have been discussing the matter for a while, we have had many mature conversations on this thread with little problems, It has nothing to do with being pissed, it has everything to do with Whats going on and right and wrong.

I am sorry you think we are whining and so fourth, but I will cont to update the thread as long as theres people who support me and interested in the details

So you paid ~20$...If its not alot for me, its DEFINITELY not alot for you, since you live in a "rich country".
You've probably given more money to beggars...

And in your first post you just whined about the servers, so which is it: can you only play offline or are you unable to play minecraft at all?

Anyways, it doesnt matter, like I've said before:

Just leave this forum, then return when minecraft is finished, you will have tons of new stuff and a working game...

I dont understand what you hope to accomplish with this topic, noone here can help you, we are just users.

Yes I agree it is lame that he hasnt responded so far, but I dunno all the details and you could just be trolling...
Good luck with your paypal thing, I just hope they dont use this as an excuse to do something like freeze notch's account...they are bastards.

Money in general is a Big deal, to me and my family to me and my roomies, 20dollars can be the differences between going out and enjoying something or not, and Our county is not rich o.0 and Yes I Do give money to the homeless, not much a dollar here and there, sometimes food when I have to spare but I have been doing that for years, its called being nice.

Yes many times I have stated I can not play "At all" It gets stuck at the "Done loading screen" I've repeated this all though the thread..

No I am not trolling, What I'm doing does not fit the details of trolling, I've been kind, nice about it, and I have responded to many peoples questions, been in chat both here and in PM with mods and so fourth..

To be honest, I kinda hope Notch ignores Paypal. No offense Mira, I want you to get your refund. It's just if Notch getting hit by Paypal will get a couple people to stop revering him as some infallible god-being, it'll be worth it. (Though, knowing NDF, they'll compare it to the crucifixion.)

    Good luck though, Mira.

Thank you for the kind support and supporting me in this ever growing problem

I highly doubt paypal will do anything.

Paypal Has told me straight up, when we sent the request, that if they step in there is a VERY good chance something "WILL Happen" as I said I have been doing business with them for many years and have had Hundreds of dollars well over 500+ And multiple accounts tied for money going in and out

Last time We had to go to this length to get a refund the account was Temporary Suspended, and the user was contacted directly and had to jump though countless hoops to get his account back up.. It was sad seeing it happen but thats what happens when you ignore.

Paypal doesn't take likely to these short of things, I'm not sure how you came about your issues with paypal but They don't act that way anymore they've really stepped there game up hun

If you can afford the $40+/month that fios costs then I'm pretty sure one single 20 dollar payment won't kill you. This game is still in development, which means servers can be untrustworthy. Make good friends with SSP in the downtimes - which aren't that long.

Your missing the Point!!!!!! Please understand the point before offering Contrubution, its not a matter of what I can "Or can't Afford" its a matter of the fact I paid for something I CAN NOT USE

How hard is it to understand that I can not use the product. Period!, It wont log in, I can't get past the "Done Loading" I'm not the only person having issues there are many complaints, And more complaints of people afraid to voice them because of people jumping down our throats

    Please try listening..

What have we paid for? We have paid for a great and addictive game that was just a hobby to Notch. I honestly doubt he thought it would get this many sales and that he would be a "millionaire". All I know is that Notch is being extremely kind by letting us play a game that JUST entered BETA. Mark the words Beta. Every single game in the history of mankind has bugs. And if World of Warcraft per-say were to let everyone in on their game when it was still unfinished, well needless to say it would be just as buggy as Minecraft if not worse. For being a small company and just making games for fun, Notch and his employees are doing a great job of updating Minecraft, and making sure we have the best gaming experience the he can possibly offer us while the game is still in BETA.

Edit: Plus Minecraft is offered at a good price. If not lower than it should be.

world of warcraft did let people into there game when it wasn't finished... its called "Development phase" then "Alpha" then "Beta" and even in development phase was 10times better then the phase Minecraft is in right now.. I would know, I was in every single "Test phase" of WoW, including Development

    My test game list is
    SecondLife
    MapleStory
    DungeonFighters
    FFF (FlyForFun)
both of the online final fantasy's (Pc)
    The new Dota game
Rift (The new game that's in design)
All World of warcraft test phases including Cata, and Development phase
    Age of Conan
    Warhammer Online
    (The list goes on)

and None of these games have had as much downtime or problems as I have had with minecraft.. I still hang at the "Done Loading" After you click on login, heck even a "MOD" Had told me his friend who has almost the same Identical Pc, both windows 7 and very alike hardware wise and has the same issue I do and The mod himself can log in just fine but his friend hangs on the doneLoading

Ontop of these problems, There is a lack of Communication, we know hes around because he honestly has enough time to "Tweet" about all his lovely new content and has the ability to try to "Push" More sells, yet doesn't have the time to respond to urgent Help requests like mine who have paid and can't even Use the client?

but he can tweet all day long and respond to people he chooses to respond to and push out more sells by using a sells tactic trick?

*pulls her hair out* Merf you got to be joking?

    Wow really?

Its JUST 15$ I mean cmon, how poor are you to make such a big deal about it...

And I dont think he should do refunds, anyone can just say it doesnt work for them after theyve had their fun with minecraft and demand a refund.

Just leave this forum, then return when minecraft is finished, you will have tons of new stuff and a working game...

but the fact is, this isn't how you run a business, I Know, I RUN ONE, I own pdx pc medics in Oregon.. I'm the head Guy, thee boss, and we are only 2 people! yet we are able to deal with thousands of emails a day by using Filter handlers, and setting up color tagging and so fourth, which Notch could do too, he could set up a filter to watch for "Refund/Request" and tag it as Red and as IMportiant and put into this Folder.. which gets read first.. and so fourth..

its 2011 now.. we have many ways to deal with mass emails and so much more..

Basically, the moderator merged a few different threads and turned this into a jumbled mess.

Anything for a response yet Mira?

No, I'm afraid I will have to request paypal to step into the matter, I had asked a few mods if they where able to get ahold of the owner, and they told me they been finding it quite challenging to get ahold of him, I had spoke in PM with multiple people who said they put refunds requests in months ago and to no prevail, not a single response to any emails, nor support responses...

As a Business guy myself, this really concerns and worries me, for all the new people, Minecraft is Wonderful, but the team needs to respond to us.. specifically those of us who gave money up to them so freely and willingly

    ~Mira

I'd have such a laugh if he blogged about his paypal getting suspended because "he wuz so busy and couldnt find time to respond to refund requests".
I doubt it will get that out of hand though.

Paypal has told me directly if they step in, theres a good chance they will do it, No ifs and butts, I have been doing business with paypal for many years, and they know I hardly ever request a reversal and every time I ever have done it, the account of said person got suspended until they jumped though a ton of hoops to get it re-activated.

I really hope it doesn't come down to this, but we will see, and I will cont to provide updates.

    ~Mira

Thank you for the support I have behind this matter I will keep updating as I get more info
