The thing is, you're entitled to your opinion. I don't hold that against you. What I have issue with is you've kept this thread alive for 5 days, even after the issue you mention has been resolved, and yet you haven't said anything different than "Notch owes me what I want because I paid $20 and he has $20000000, he can afford it." You just keep rehashing the same points (most of which are invalid). You stated your position in your OP, you don't need to keep hammering it into the forum every second post. That's what made this entire thread go from a complaint to just plain whining.

If you're 50, and you tested only a single 1000, that means you tested 20 games a year every year of your life. Let's assume you started testing games at, say, 15 (public game testing didn't exist back then, it was all in-house QA), that increases the number to 30 games a year. More than 2 games a month. When did you get time to study to become the network genius you profess to be?
You make outrageous statements you know aren't true, like there's been login issues for months that have been getting worse. You started out saying it was hours, then a few hours later it was days, half a day later it was weeks, then 4 days after that it was months. You have the typical time keeping skills of a impotent, whining customer that thinks the more you complain the more likely you are to get your way. I deal with people like you everyday.
You continually mention how much money Notch has, like it has any bearing on the matter. This point alone clearly states you have no concept of how a business operates. Throwing money at problems doesn't make them go away.
Then you start in with the idle threats of getting a refund. Well, best of luck with that. When you bought the game you agreed to the terms of sale, which were you are buying this game as is.
As we at Mojang continue to release more complete builds of the game, we will also be reducing the discount gradually until we reach the final version and full price of the product. So the earlier you buy, the better value you get! Although we are very passionate about this project, we cannot guarantee that it will be completed - that's why we offer the discounted price When you purchase the game, you pay for it as it is right now. Future updates are an added bonus.

Paypal Has told me straight up, when we sent the request, that if they step in there is a VERY good chance something "WILL Happen" as I said I have been doing business with them for many years and have had Hundreds of dollars well over 500+ And multiple accounts tied for money going in and out
Last time We had to go to this length to get a refund the account was Temporary Suspended, and the user was contacted directly and had to jump though countless hoops to get his account back up.. It was sad seeing it happen but thats what happens when you ignore.
Paypal doesn't take likely to these short of things, I'm not sure how you came about your issues with paypal but They don't act that way anymore they've really stepped there game up hun
If you can afford the $40+/month that fios costs then I'm pretty sure one single 20 dollar payment won't kill you. This game is still in development, which means servers can be untrustworthy. Make good friends with SSP in the downtimes - which aren't that long.

What have we paid for? We have paid for a great and addictive game that was just a hobby to Notch. I honestly doubt he thought it would get this many sales and that he would be a "millionaire". All I know is that Notch is being extremely kind by letting us play a game that JUST entered BETA. Mark the words Beta. Every single game in the history of mankind has bugs. And if World of Warcraft per-say were to let everyone in on their game when it was still unfinished, well needless to say it would be just as buggy as Minecraft if not worse. For being a small company and just making games for fun, Notch and his employees are doing a great job of updating Minecraft, and making sure we have the best gaming experience the he can possibly offer us while the game is still in BETA.
Edit: Plus Minecraft is offered at a good price. If not lower than it should be.
world of warcraft did let people into there game when it wasn't finished... its called "Development phase" then "Alpha" then "Beta" and even in development phase was 10times better then the phase Minecraft is in right now.. I would know, I was in every single "Test phase" of WoW, including Development

I'm the head Guy, thee boss, and we are only 2 people! yet we are able to deal with thousands of emails a day by using Filter handlers, and setting up color tagging and so fourth, which Notch could do too, he could set up a filter to watch for "Refund/Request" and tag it as Red and as IMportiant and put into this Folder.. which gets read first.. and so fourth..
its 2011 now.. we have many ways to deal with mass emails and so much more..
