I know my opinion will probably be different then other people's, but this is what I prefer. I got introduced into Minecraft with parkour maps from 1.7 and 1.8. They were not too long and had some story. Also, I like when people use signs, and not books (just a personal preference). Your map may not be remembered all that well if you follow my advice, but you don't really have to be a good builder or storyteller to pull this off. So there. Please take this into consideration and thank you for your time.
It could be nice to have deep sea Submarines Those small yellow ones with their robot arms and small lights... Okay imagine you sitting in one of those small submarines its dark, their isn't much space and you don't know what you could meet down there (Creepy?), suddenly you hears some odd noises from behind, the light on you submarines fades out and everything is dark...Then you hear the odd noise again and Red lamps blink warning you about that the motor is damaged, you can hear the noise of something big and agile attacking your machine-then you hears a Hissing noise and the noises stops...All is quite...VERY quite... ...You hear a sound...the sound of something BIG...quite... ...Suddenly-out of nothing'two huge beak like jaws grabs and chews in the cockpit the Alarm starts warning you, and there is total panic as this huge creature rushes you little one man sub' the glass breaks and everything is dark... ... ...Many weeks later you wakes up at a hospital missing you arm and with two broken legs and bad wounds, you memory is completely gone you don't remember anything about the beast, only the submarine...Nobody will ever knew what happened... ...And the Beast will continue ruling the deep sea with its terror...
That is my new suggestion: The Submarine and the Beast: it isn't a Octopus as you may have thought no... it's something much worse...it is the... the...(Insert cool name here) something that sounds south pacific small islands-like...Ka' thiku-tarr or something i don't know...anyway is looks like this just bigger and even more fearsome...Maybe it could be a semiboss, or just a rare ' n' hard to defeat mob
how about whenever you are in the yellow submarine, the song Yellow Submarine by The Beatles come on. Also, I'm following this mod. Great potential.
Hello all! Recently, I've been thinking about just sucking it up and getting all the achievements, when an idea dawned on me. What if I made a map where it lets you get all the achievements. No mods. I'm not too far on it as I type, but it will be out relatively soon. I've seen when launching Minecraft that the Horse Update (1.6) will be coming out next week. I would enjoy an OP or admin spot if you have any. I'm experienced in smallish servers with staff and such but I'm sure a bigger server would be no problem. Also, I thought I might add that I would be fine with mod as well.

I don't really think that you'll even see this application, but I wanted to be a staff on your server, so I figured I'd give it a shot.
First off, hello. I have a channel on YouTube in which i do mod reviews, little play-throughs of me and my friends playing Minecraft, etc. Since Minecraft updated to 1.5 last week, I was only able to install Optifine. I was just able to install TMI earlier today.(by the way those are my base mods for everything) I've been trying all the different styles of forge to try and install them, but none of them work. And if you do a lot of mods(like me), you'd know it's a pretty good thing to have forge, which has pretty much everything needed. I was just wondering if anyone else was having trouble with this problem, and how to fix it(if possible). And in case anyone cares, my YouTube is www.youtube.com/platinumtherum.
