I have noticed that there is a glitch on the blocking of flying on servers

One some blocks like chests, the server will register you as flying and then kick you.

this is a basic survival map were you have to survive from planet to planet to get to the end and kill the ender dragon. there are hidden chests and also mob spawners, as well as the end and the nether, witch are both normal. here are the rules:

    1. no mods or cheats, play fair or it isn't fun
    2. no using the nether as an escape from the planets.
    3. no building down to the ground so you can survive normally (it's superflat anyway)

    download the map:

If you have seen any custom maps you will notice that the land around them is awesome, this makes the map awesome. Every epic creation starts with an epic spot to build, this is that epic spot. Don't worry this is just a default world with one well edited spot to build.

You can't really tell people not to give criticism xD

Still, interesting idea, but it seems a little out-of-place since it's of a drastically different resolution from the default textures.

It doesn't matter whether this texture is high resolution or not as it is just 2 blocks which the textures changed on, its similar to if just leaves and wood were high resolution, not to mention the most visible part of the texture is in a way low definition

This belongs in the texture pack section.

I didn't know there was a texture pack section, I will remember that if I ever make a texture pack again

This is the default texture pack with 512 bit glass. It makes the glass generally improved. More than the invisible glass or the connected textures glass. Nothing in the texture pack is changed except the glass. If you don't like it I will give a full refund (of the $0.00 you spent on it). Please don't criticize.

Redundant. Furthermore, it's easier to use outside programs and those programs allow for a lot more customization. A GUI with the same number of options that you can perform using NBTexplorer would take up the screen and include a scroll bar; multiple potion effects, armor, weapons, health, enchantments on those armors...you get the idea.

    Redundant.

Already possible. One command block has "scoreboard objectives add NameOfObjective dummy" and the other has "scoreboard objectives remove NameOfObjective". The second command block is linked up to a comparator and a redstone clock. When the objective is created by sending a redstone signal to the first command block, the redstone clock updates the second command block, removes the objective, and the comparator outputs a signal. I used this in my map.

Why would you need this...? I can't think of a really good reason.

Highly redundant. More so than the spawnmob command, but still less than the mob spawner GUI.

It is not easier to use outside programs, plus it can just be created to spawn the basic mobs. It is not redundant, it makes all the relevant points and it is the first post, I searched

It is not redundant, actually a very important suggestion when it comes to map making

Thanks for the tip with the command block wireless redstone

It could create elevators and provides a zero space alternative to pistons

    I agree

I agree with 1; but I would highly encourage the use of MCedit filters.

2 would be useful, I suppose.

As for 3, again, use MCedit.

I think things can be easier though, and thanx for agreeing with 2, when making adventure maps these will be very useful

    1. But then the Water would look ugly as Rails are not full blocks.
    2. Yes, I am fine with that.
    3. Umm... No
    4. Yes. They should have better jumping especially from Powered Rails.
    5. Oversuggested.

    1. I was suggesting that the water occupies the block as well as the rail which could also benifit chests, fences and slabs/stairs if this effect was added
    2. I agree
    3. Why not, maybe no for the second part but the first part has amazing potential
    4. I agree
    5. I agree, but it helps my point the more suggestions on it that have been made

posted a message on Redstone Block, better use for it
    Quote from Ganman3

    Yeah... no.

You know what? Players desperately requested redstone blocks, and even gave the Minecraft dev team the ideas on how it works. The Minecraft dev team had been racking their heads about it for some time, and it seems to me they only introduced it because so many people wanted it at Minecon.

And no, if you really think about it, there are plenty of practical reasons for it. I think of at least two.

One: It's a redstone power source that is pushable my pistons. That has all sorts of potential.

Two: It compresses your redstone. Now, you don't need to fill chests up with the stuff.

So, I seriously think you're in the minority here.

    1. You can just block the Redstone current, I can guarantee that there is not a single creation that can't be done without Redstone blocks
    2. This new idea doesn't limit that potential

Also I can think of five reasons for my idea (2 more than what I listed)
like they provide a second Redstone lamp option which creates additional options for texture packs
and they open up a huge opportunities for compresses Redstone wiring
    Quote from Neospector
    1. Torches can't be moved by pistons
    2. Vertical redstone is easy as is, the downside being it has a small delay.
    3. I don't understand 3...so when powered it functions exactly like a normal powered block (transfers the redstone signal to adjacent redstone wires)?
I created a one-use button with a redstone block just today. Many others can probably do much cooler things. Use your imagination.

    2. Yeah but it takes up a large amount of space
    3. Yeah but it is always activated which is a major flaw

That can more than easily be done without a Redstone block

Many people have made interesting creations with mine-cart rails but I think there are a few ideas that can improve them

    1. They don't get destroyed by water, for god sake there made out of metal they should stay and the water should just go through them
    2. They should be able to free-stand they would still need so be built on a block but when the block is destroyed they will stay
    3. Sticky rails, when rails are combined with slime balls they can be placed on walls going vertical and potentially go diagonally upside down this opens up a whole world of opportunities
    4. Jumps. the mine-carts should be able to jump further, currently they have very low jumping capabilities (probably because their metal) despite their speed. I think they should act as if they are lighter
    5. Connected carts, it is annoying having carts that go at the same time bumping into each other so why not make them join using a simple crafting recipe of (M= Mine-cart) MM or MMM.

This will create the opportunity for roller-coasters

posted a message on Redstone Block, better use for it
Recently the Redstone block has been added as a power source, I think it should be a Redstone transmitter, like Redstone wires. What it will do it when it receives power it transmits power to adjacent Redstone block or wire but not to anything else. Here are my reasons why this would be a better use

    1. Redstone blocks are the same as Redstone torches. Why waste them
    2. Redstone blocks would create vertical Redstone which has been suggested many times
    3. They create a freestanding Redstone transmitter which would be useful (which would be less useful as a freestanding power source)

It doesn't even need to be modified but if you use a different crafting recipe like (8 redstone and 1 gold (makes 8))

I just got a new idea for a command block command, (blockset 185,71,2014 21(blockset, location, blockID)) makes a block in a specified location change to a specified block, it would make elevators awesome
