Also do I need to download the patch + base or just the patch as the patch is a comprehensive update including the base?

    1. If you meant the Main Page on the "Stevenrage.tk" Website then it should be fixed now! :)

...no, it's the one on this thread's first page, see attachment. (Apparently I can't just simply upload inline images...)

    3. I mean the current pack is already taking quite a lot of time and i dont even earn anything from it since im doing it for fun, and the pack is free to use/download, combined with managing a website and the forums of course (and the discord technically when people need help.) I sadly also need to manage other stuff and or want to play other games other than minecraft. :P

Hah, fair enough I suppose...still enjoy your rather quick responses! ^_^

    4. What keyboard do you have? If its a old PS2 Keyboard (Instead of a USB one for example) or generally cheaper one its possible that you are experiencing Ghosting. if it is that theres sadly nothing you can do really but buying a new keyboard.

I have a steelseries 7G(looks like the manufacturer's deleted the product page for this specific keyboard so I linked the next closest thing to it). I also play on my laptop which is probably using an unbranded keyboard and also happens to that too. I've tried a Logitech keyboard and a Microsoft one (dunno their models though) and it affects them too. The 7G, unless I've been misinformed, was touted to be a gaming keyboard that uses PS/2 connection for it's multiple key rollovers, which means you can press more than three keys and the system won't beep or do nothing because you pressed more than two keys at the sametime...which is perfect, say when you're playing a driving game with only keyboard and mouse and need to do a 360 burnout, you press both w and s for accelerate and brake, and the a or the d key to turn left or right respectively - you can't do that on a cheap usb keyboard...I'm guessing the more expensive usb keyboards might let you, considering you're paying over $100 for them.... But yeah, according to that it apparently boasts anti-ghosting....

    Here's a quick rundown:

    The virgin usb keyboard:

    > Has to wait his turn to get the cpu's attention

    > Politely asks the cpu to accept the new input

    > General purpose port, has to identify himself as a keyboard before the system know what to do with him

    > Gets blocked when a virus kills all access to usb devices

    > Hot sawappable and is okay with that

    > Gets confused when you hit too many keys

    The chad PS/2 keyboard:

    > Always works, doesn't stop until power goes down

    > Literally interrupts the cpu, tells it to work on its input before anything else

    > Has his own dedicated port, system know who he is before even the bios is loaded

    > Literally impossible to kill besides unplugging it

    > Not hot swappable, when unplugged it crashes the whole system like a true alpha peripheral

    > Has full native n-key rollover

The incel, niceguy, friendzoned Bluetooth keyboard:

    > Thinks that everything should support it in its quirkiness
    > Nobody cares

    > And even if happens to work, chances are it'd be awkward

    > Considers its kind to be superior and special

    > They are instantly perceived as a freakshow

    > Has a shitton of requirements proudly proclaimed on the back of the packaging

    > But is actually willing to work even with a 2002 WinCE PDA

    > Though it will never admit it

    > Feels like it needs more power and regularly bitches about it

    > The normies do not understand the fuss and feel like they simply have it

    > Actively harasses the last device that it considers a potential host

    > Let's admit it, it won't be the first one

Anyways, I thought that was interesting to read and or add to the discussion, heh. Yeah...um, sometimes it presses Y or T for chat when I didn't even press it (or even other random buttons) which brings up the chat window pausing my sprint action and getting gobbled up by zombies, blown up by a creeper or shot by a skeleton....or anything else equally as bad...hah ...it's almost as if I have a faulty keyboard............................. <_< -_-

Interestingly it only affects this game.....other games I play have no issue with this quirk.....or at least as far as I remember anyways....

Mind telling me where you found the "/ST" Link? since ive tried to make sure they're fixed everywhere on my posts so you'd really help me out if you can say where the bad link is so i can fix it! :)

    It's on the first page....

    Quote from IStealYourRAM»

Also the white boxes are sadly caused by optifine and seem to also happen to other packs (even default), usually more often happens when certain shaders are used so far it seems so i guess we just gotta live with it. :(

What caused it to happen? I don't remember it happening in the older versions.....

    Quote from IStealYourRAM»

also ill probably never do higher resolutions, one resolution is already a lot of work and time i have to put into the pack :P

Ok, fair enough...just thought it would look, err - prettier with higher res textures....and even just keeping the vanilla feel and appearance of it...

Also has a side question which is completely offtopic - would you have any ideas as to how to fix the issue when you sprint and then press any other movement keys and it stops your character moving from moving for some reason? Kind annoying (especially when you're trying to run away from monsters where there's like 20 skeletons vs. you with you have nothing but a stick or even nothing at all - completely naked and starting out and just bumped into a spawn of 20 skeletons all firing at you...) when you wanna sprint strafe around something or jump over something and then suddenly your character stops moving and to make him sprint again you have to press w and shift key again... Know anything about this issue or is it just me?

Uhhhhh.....your download link: https://stevenrage.tk/ST/downloads.php is 404 for me on the 1st page.....so where to get latest 1.14.4 version?

Nevermind - I found it by traversing your main site.....apparently the url is https://stevenrage.tk/downloads.php not https://stevenrage.tk/ST/downloads.php.... Also do I need to download the patch + base or just the patch as the patch is a comprehensive update including the base?

Also the last time I used it, I saw some white boxes around zombies, not sure if it could be caused by an outdated copy of this or you overlooked this as they only show whenever you're far away from them or above them really high up...

And one more thing before I sign off: Is there gonna be a future 128x128, 256x256, 512x512 and or 1024x104 or higher resolution versions? :D

I can try to ask Vader if thats okay and i have his permission to use his configurations etc. :)

Noticed the JSON issue, kinda annoyed the Console didnt say anything and you needed a third party tool to find the issue but HEY atleast i know the fix now. Thank you very much! :)

Ah, I see you've already noticed, was gonna post a solution: https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/6iank3/resource_packs_not_showing_up_in_the_menu/ ...and or have you fix it....speaking of which, I notice the latest 1.12.2 isn't on the front page and is 1.11......

    Quote from IStealyourRAM»

I myself never will do 128x or higher mostly because its way more work (basicially double the work atleast) and 64x is my favourite resolution to play with while not having too detailed textures.

Do you know anyone else who works on a similar project like yours that's faithful to the look and feel but with a higher resolution, like that one guy said, 128x128 or more? I found this guy here: https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding-java-edition/resource-packs/1234744-32x-64x-96x-128x-256x-v1-7-9-minecraft-enhanced but he seems to have abandoned it on 1.7.4....which is like a few years of release ago......hahahaha....

Dropbox doesn't need an application to download but I wouldn't recommend the service because usually after around 10 downloads it says your links are generating too much traffic.

I happened to find a fix for it in the newest update! It was quite simple really LOL. For the .png file for the spider/enderman eyes overlay, all I needed to do was make the background black rather than see-through. Thanks though!

Oh, nice....I guess I don't need to do any further work then and just download and install the latest version of your EPR mod.... :D

What about the resolution size? Anything to comment on that or not really?

Thank for the comment, as for the bugs with the spider and enderman, I really have no explanation for them, it only seems to happen on the 512x512 version and unfortunately it started once MC 1.7 was released so it must be a change of code that causes those issues. :/ I didn't design it around any mods though, not to worry. Hopefully mojang does something about that because it was fine before 1.7 came out. Also, I don't believe it's currently possible to run a 1024x1024 pack without MC crashing or some other error occurring unfortunately, trust me. If it was an option I'd have made that instead of 512x. Leave any more feedback that you have on my forum though, I'd love to hear more! Thanks

Hmmm, perhaps......will try again sometime later - maybe this newer version fixed this or you found a fix for it throughout your discoveries....I've just been off MC for a while....but intend to get back into it at some point... Just started receiving these notification emails in my inbox.....looks like I've missed quite some activity here that the notification system failed to notify me of.....

As for the resolution texture size, then perhaps make it in between 1024x1024 and 512x512? Like 768x768? Would that work? I'm not sure how it works or if it needs to be a multiple of a specific number....but if it crashes at 1024x1024 but doesn't at 512x512, then something in between as suggested?

The nice custom sky is nice, but is overridden if using shaders(or at least for me it is), so are the water textures but that's to be expected. Also, logs didn't connect for me - just tested it, look in attachment. ]

Will check this pack out more thoroughly tomorrow or something. Too sleepy right now....

EDIT: Still looks pretty decent even without shaders. The added animation and other extras make it look like you're almost running a shader mod with it, but you're not which is an added plus as shaders take a big hit to fps!

Nice pack. Though there is a couple of bugs with mine - the spiders and Enderman are white and it would appear that if I turn shaders on, that fixes it. I think that you designed your pack around the use of a shader engine....which some people here don't all use.

Also be warned, the 512x512 texture resolution(as pretty as it looks - wonder if there is a 1024x1024 pack in the works, heh) @1600p will gobble up VRAM; especially with shaders on!
