I've been playing on the MCTheWalls servers recently, and I hate it when someone comes, takes all your iron out of your funnaces, breaks the furnaces, and storms off. Plus, they are all noobs that do that, so they don't make anything usefull out of them, and die as soon as the wall falls ~_~
After crashing into a huge rock in the ocean during a freak storm, you awaken to find your ship torn apart and barely afloat. With no land anywhere near you, you must find a way to survive using parts of your ship, the environment around you, and your basic emergency supplies.
Shipwrecked isn't only surviving on a ship, there is also a huge underwater ravine and a dungeon with resources you need.

-You may break parts of your ship for resources (keep in mind that you'll need to fix it later)
-Do not break spawners, you might need the mob drobs later

-Change the sail to a different colour
-Make a brick chimeney for your home
Once you've completed all the objectives, you can try to find land. The zeppelin mod works great for this...

So the white screen is an API clash? It seems that forestry is incompatible with EE and one part of RedPower. But what I don't understand is why no one else is having this problem. The versions I have are the correct versions on Direwolf20's post.
Then i really don't know what your issue is, get an error report and i'll try to help you fix the issue but without that there's really nothing i can do except try to guess what may fix and issue you may or may not be having.
How do I get an error report? It seems that it never loads.
Sorry, i guess you didn't see that I was experimenting, and the latest version of forestry works fine on it's own, with buildcraft and other mods. It just makes a white screen while using all the other DW20 mods, with no error message. I did try several different versions, and none of them worked D; but thanks for your help

I have had no problem with forestry, but on DW20's thread, it said to use 1.4.8.0. When i tried installing that version, and versions higher, Minecraft would get a white screen, but with no error. Nothing would happen. I have the correct version of forge, and buildcraft too. 1.4.6.2 Seems to work just fine, but not the version that direwolf has. Does anyone know what to do?
Go into your .techniclauncher or .minecraft and backup your worlds. Then, press CTRL + A (highlight everything) and delete all of it. Then run a force update but make sure that you are controlling the majority of your bandwidth.
I have done that many times, and it never worked. But what do you mean by "controlling the majority of your bandwidth"?
EDIT: I've tried deleting .minecraft and .techniclauncher many times before, and it still doesn't work. Is there any way to completely dissable avg?

So this has been happening to me, and a lot of people. We try to update minecraft, (and technic pack for that matter) and it often gets stuck at a random % of a download. I've seen all kinds of soloutions for this, but none of them worked. Sometimes, if I try, and try again, it will eventualy download completely, but sometimes I need to try like 30 times D.:
I have AVG, and i dissabled both its firewall and anti-virus, but still nothing worked. This has been happening for a long time now, and would love some help.
Does anyone know any way to fix it?
I usually refer to natural stone when I'm mining as plainly "stone" but, I call it smooth stone while building to differentiate it from cobble. I think it might be a habit from all the way back in Alpha before the block's named were clearly labeled and everyone just tried to make up names for the blocks.
Anyway my pet peeves are noobs building crappy noob shacks near my architectural masterpieces. I also hate 1x1 pillars, floating leaves, 1x1 deathdrop mineshafts, partially griefed buildings, "sky turds", pixel art, griefers, little kids, annoying people, other players, missing water sources in a natural body of water, items on the ground, unnaturally broken terrain, standalone wool sculptures, dirt as a building material, poorly built redstone contraptions, small buildings made out of a single material, other player's buildings, loud animal farms near a frequently used place, and lava in my pants.
