Whitelist has been updated to cover all posts up to this one. If you did not get in, try strengthening your application and trying again. However, if you have a history of griefing, or lie about your age or getting banned elsewhere, you won't be accepted. It's better to just be honest.
To those applying: be truthful about your age and previous bans. If you write that you're 14 here, and 23 somewhere else, you will not be whitelisted. Also, if you were banned, even if it was for something stupid/minor, be honest about it-otherwise we find that ban and just assume the worst.
White-list messages were sent to those that got in. To those that didn't get a pm, try beefing up your application by adding more information. We want to hear more about you!

I cannot speak for the other proctors, but I find issue with the fact that you have previous bans, but you claim you have none. We want the server to be fun for everyone, so we cant risk letting in people that may have a shady past, because of griefing, cheating, rule breaking, etc. If you're open and honest about it, and explain what happened, you're much more likely to be accepted.

Then try messaging back the person who white-listed you. It's case sensitive, so make sure to include your full, proper in-game name, exactly as it is ingame.

Is there a reason I can't connect? It appears I have been whitelisted because I don't get the whitelist message anymore but it says "Downloading Terrain" and then give me the error "Connection Lost Internal exception: java....."
I'm guessing this has something to do with the update or whatever that someone above said?
Make sure you are on the right client - otherwise you might see that error.
I'm having a lot of trouble downgrading because I'm on a Mac and the McSwitcher is an exe. I saw someone on the thread say that there was an older version of something that worked on their mac, but I'm not sure what they meant? I figured it out. Here is how to downgrade for Mac users:
1. Download this file http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12692987/bin%20 ... 1.1_02.zip 2. Unzip it and open the new Bin folder that it created in Finder. 3.Copy all of the files in this folder except for the Natives folder. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT YOU DO NOT COPY THE NATIVES FOLDER. 4. Navigate to User>library>Application support>minecraft>bin 5. Make sure Minecraft is closed, and go edit -> paste or press command + v. In the dialogue box that pops up tick "Apply to All" and click "Replace." 6. Open Minecraft! You should now be Beta 1.1_02

I may be wrong, but I think that's the one that tallies a number of statistics for each player, such as deaths, mined blocks, etc.
