Two days ago I came on the server to grab some screenshots of my things that I had put effort into during my time on the server. I came on under a different account to avoid causing any arguments or problems. I kept to myself, and didn't talk to anyone.

What I saw though is truly unfortunate.

I had warped to one of my best builds (/warp chimera), only to find it has been majorly griefed. By an Admin or group of Admins.
I can safely say that it was Admin+ because the majority of it is World Edit. I would like to add that one Admin was added as owner of the protect, and I have a screenshot of this, In case it is required.

Everything was replaced with Glass, and Destroyed.



This is recent, as I had visited it about a week earlier.

While I know my opinion means little to this server now, I would like to ask why my creations are being griefed by the staff. This is a clear abuse of their power (World edit), and the Trust players put in them to uphold the rules they set in place.

We (I) have been told that you griefed it yourself for fun. The glass was my doing afterward, also for fun. A group of admins had fun with it because it was already griefed to oblivion by who I believed to be you. The plan was to destroy it afterward. No apology is necessary. If you did grief it and are just trying to cause drama, please go home and rethink your life. Otherwise, we don't know who griefed it or at least I don't.

This is ********, Minecraft is a game. You play it to get away from the stress of real life. This is exactly why I left this damn game last November, I went to experience real life to escape the stress of a goddamn Minecraft server. Going eight months without any gaming at all taught me that life is terribly important. The outside world is going to leave you in the dust if you put all your attention to an online community. Games, on the other hand, will stay pretty well the same. Exactly the same; It's nothing but trouble, people can't get along and play one of the most relaxing games of all time because of a pseudo-class system that pitches players against one another to compete in psychological, social, and emotional warfare in hopes of earning petty titles. I don't know if this post breaks forum rules, delete it if it does. But it's ****ing nonsense and nobody likes it.

I'm not talking specifically to any one of you, but every one of you. This message also goes out to myself months ago, who got jealous every time another admin got "privileges" or "favoritism" aimed their way. It's a pointless thing to worry about; if you want to be an asset to this server, then be a goddamn asset. If not, don't pretend to be one. Get the hell along with one another, it's a game. It's a game.

I'm not leaving and I'm not saying anything on the subject hereafter. But it's all too much and if this server's community continues to collapse upon itself I won't be part of it. And if I'm not going to be part of the downfall, be damn sure I won't be part of the aftermath.

Find holes in my logic if they will have you. That's all I have to say, won't be sharing any more opinions. They're not usually my thing.

I got a new laptop, and I'll be moving into USC on August 18.

I'll be playing regularly (almost daily, hopefully) again when I move in and classes start. I'm also working on a new player skin that I'll wear permanently, so keep your sonic screwdrivers handy.

I'm not back, but I was told some stuff was going on in the last couple days; more people leaving. I read up, and I'm sorry to hear this. I told tennispro I'd support a decision to quit video games altogether, which is what I've done (and I've personally been very happy).

What? We died? Again? No problem, this has happened before, and I expect a new server to surface from the ashes. At this rate, we should be rebooting next year about this same time, just under different management.

Hmm, so it seems we have an issue here.

Let us get some things laid out. When I, or anyone joins our server, we expect something. That something is this: our status quo, which includes a friendly atmosphere, friends and/or friendly players, and a goal of reaching our minecraft goals, whether it is a building project, a resource quota, depending on which server you frequent perhaps. It is a duty of anyone, not just the staff, to maintain that status quo by exercising any power they might have.

So I plan to fulfill that duty. Given I am an admin, I have a great amount of tools available to make sure our servers' status quo is maintained. Most issues I can readily deal with, being if it has not been already resolved.

When I log in to hear about some drama though, a headache returns. Drama has always been a challenge for most of us here. Every dramatic situation needs a different protocol to solve justly. I cannot refer to a sheet of rules to these sorts of things. This is why I find dramatic tension to be the root of all friendship evils. I refuse to live with a headache. So I will put this here.

Firstly, no one, not even staff, have a right to shred a build of anyone's ownership to a ghost of its former self. I think anyone would be angered if they were to find a battered mess of their project, whether in-progress or ancient. I find we did cross a line that night when Dev's ship was, erm, ship-wrecked. I wrongfully participated in the event by laying out a WE of anvils into the area. If wanted, which I can imagine will be, I will do my part to aid in a clean-up and strip the area of anvils. It seemed funny late that night, but now we are left with a stain on our KS image and a bad hangover. This could have lead to some demotions. I do not want that.

But hold up. This is not a typical sitation, thanks to the ­ known formally as drama. Somewhere along the way, it had to worm its ass into here and make this an atypical situation, and no longer could anyone refer to a book or pamphlet to settle the issue. There is a reason I can imagine why some are perpetuating this madness. A while ago now, you and a group of admins disagreed with how KS was being managed, specifically on the Survival server. That is fine with me. What is not okay is when one continuously abuses his or her influence to get what he/she wants, not what the Owner wants, and start slamming those that he/she finds disagreeable with slander. No leader of any sort does those sorts of things. That ruins the status quo we are all sworn to maintain here. So to maintain it, you and a few others either were ousted, or left by choice, in order to settle it.

Here's the meat of this: you left us by your own decision. I recall quotes mentioning you were gone for good. Well what sort of idea does that give us here? We can only assume you would no longer bother with anything here. So when we defaced your build, you suddenly come crying to this forum about how it was griefed, and that we should not have done such a thing. Well you shouldn't have left us or talked badly about us, dammit!

So I find no other reason for you to be perpetuating the drama that was meant to be settled long ago, except by stirring up trouble and making an attempt to degrade our image, reverting back to your ways before removing yourself seemingly permanently. Being sworn to maintain the status quo of our servers, I will end this now, taking action rather than letting it hover in the hot air. You, Devexus, are now banned from Keystone. For good. The reasoning behind this being drama continuation and slander towards our server and its members. A non-hostile approach to this matter will not counter this, for doing so is also be considered perpetuating the madness. If needed, I will gladly ban ANYONE and their alts who also wish to continue this in the spotlight here. Further messages WILL be done in private messaging, and will not be had here without a harsh, yet just punishment, for disturbing the status quo we are sworn to maintain will NOT be tolerated.

I highly doubt that you wanted it to be a "ghost ship" that is a cover up. Also what about your hostility? Why keep it in the public view and not in PM's? You must have a reason for everyone to see this. You are not trying to be polite and calm, if you were this would already be over with. Everyone knows that you are a down right liar and that you started this whole thing.
