Long ago, during a time commonly referred to as the Golden Age disaster struck with a vengeance. A new disease had rendered the world helpless. It turned everyday people into monsters capable of nearly anything. For the first few years people managed. They realized the creatures despised the sun so they made sure sunlight reached every corner of every shelter. Eventually however, the vampires as they were later called had overtaken nearly all of humanity. Those who remained were able to create a portal to another world. A safe haven. However, the vampires were also able to enter through the portal. The humans did the only thing they could. They created a bomb that would destroy the world infested with monsters to save humanity. They set it off and for a time all was well. Until they reentered it years later to find a world of fire filled with lava and mutants which shockingly carried the disease. You are one of The Remaining. You have the power to save humanity or give in to the disease. What will you do? The choice is yours.
The world as we know it is gone. Corpses lie all over the half destroyed buildings. Only a select few remain in the last safehouse on Earth: Helio Falls. Helio Falls was founded in 2877 when the disease first started. The disease was made by North Korea during a war against the United States. Once unleashed, the disease was unstoppable and unpredictable too. It only took a few weeks before nearly all of the U.S. was abandoned, destroyed. It then moved to Canada, then Mexico, and eventually South America. Unfortunately for North Korea, some of the infected flew to Europe and Asia trying to avoid infection. Europe fell into chaos almost immediately. Asia and Africa fell soon after. It looked as if Australia may survive this massacre but some infected citizens from Japan entered Australia. Australia was destroyed in the fighting that broke out in its cities. You along with a few others were able to survive this. You moved around a lot but many insist you are still in the Divided States as its now called. Youve learned to question everything but you just agree to avoid arguments. Helio Falls has grown very slowly but now you believe the population will explode soon enough. Others disagree. You know that no one is left, you can feel it but still you wish it wasnt true. We are all wondering. We are all waiting. So where is it? Where is the sky dimension? Is it gone? Was it put on hold? I don't know. We need more info on this topic and I need everyone's help. I used to have the Aether mod and it was great. Why can't Minecraft have it? Is Minecraft not updating anymore? And what about the dragon that was supposed to come? Or the fish? What's the point of the Nether (a.k.a. Hell) if there isn't a Sky Dimension (a.k.a. Heaven)? Now I may be getting ahead of myself but what if I'm not? What if the Sky Dimension is discontinued? Hello everyone! I am starting this new topic to help people that need to learn how to mod Minecraft. I know when I started modding it was hard for me so I just want to help you. Please if everyone can post some tips and ideas and other ways to mod please do. Also if you have a Mac please especially give tips because I have Windows 7. Here's my first tip. To start hit the Start button then type Run in search. Then click on the first thing that pops up. After that you will see a blank place for typing. Type %appdata% in it then hit Enter. click .minecraft. Okay guys. I guess people will add on from there. Have fun modding!
I am stuck on where the giant lake is. I think it's that lake with stone around it but it says that is the wrong spot. This is a bukkit server with a lot of plugins like iConomy and vampires and Factions. You can also get creative if you want! This server is based off a theory you landed in a plane crash on a strange place wih strange animals and you have to try to find the people that seemed to have made cities. You will have to have a ton of skill to do this but then again why should you? FOR REWARDS

This strange place has everything from strange green animals that explode near you to ghost like creatures that shoot balls of fire. In this strange place you find a city with very few people... in this server your goal is to find them one by one in this terrible yet amazing place with twists around every corner!
