And you guys dont believe the mod communty would "fix" and add content? Mojang has pretty much put modding on hold with these updates, everyone is waiting for this API to be put into action.

One more question..How do i delete the building that has spawned at a random place...? After purchase I want the building to disappear and the player just standing on the ground it was located at. I think i will try to carpet it and just fill the area around the carpets last instance with air...I'm going to try this now, any ideas would be helpful.

I seem to be having issues with the kill command....Jeesh....no minecraft for me today my brain needs a break.

Yep i wasn't even using the right command.....

It is possible using the new /execute command. All you have to do is /execute @a[score_{scoreboard that you set up to define players who can access shop}_min=1] ~ ~ ~ clone {coordinates of lower left corner of shop} {coordinates of upper right corner} ~ ~4 ~
This will put it four blocks above the player so modifying the coordinates will be need. NOTE THIS ONLY WORKS IN SNAPSHOT 14w07a OR LATER. This is what sethbling was show casing. Also example of new command from Mojang /execute @e[type=Chicken] ~ ~ ~ fill ~-1 ~-1 ~-1 ~1 ~1 ~1 minecraft:glass
Yeah it seems i had one number messed up i got it when i woke up this morning, thank you anyways.
I gotta stop working on this stuff until i'm ready to pass out at the computer.

The piston raising the blue block needs the repeater adjusted also. if you adjust it you don't need the pulse extender...actually i only tested this with the switch so the extender may be needed with the detector rail.

That would delay the opening too. Try a pulse extender (wiki, UCRC).

Ahh yes....It seems all of the time i'm spending with command blocks is affecting my redstoning.....

The abba circuit works but the door closes before the minecart has time to pass through it.

can you add a repeater for delay?

Is there a way to move a building to a position relative to the player?
I want a "magical" shop to appear next to my player but i dont want him to have to be in a certain spot.

As a side note you can black the whole screen with blindness and nightvision and then remove the nightvision when a torch is equipped and it lights up only around you. I wish i could make videos its pretty neat.

I saw sethbling made a weeping angel type thing. I think this is what i need to do but cant figure it out.

Here lately I've been watching redstone tutorials and asking myself "how can I do this differently? Can I add something useful to this build? Can I make it use less resources?" etc. For instance, MumbJumbo has a few builds that are interesting but I have come up with a redesign that adds new bells and whistles. In his I took design 3 and amped it so it's not a single chest of storage but a mass array. The chest that appears, inputs into a sorting system that uses the stacked minecart trick to bulk store. That will then input into a chest that you can call on at anytime to receive 27 stacks of the item you sorted (great for a dirt/cobble storage system). I put in a sound that plays when receiving either chest (input to the system and the call chest (both different sounds)). It can be customized to store however many chests-full of items you want. I have a few more designs around I wanna tinker with and see what I can make better. :D

I like this idea for storage. Push a button and the chest has only what u need in it, instead of going thru hundreds of chest. I must build something like this...Thanks.

posted a message on testfor specific player with score
    Quote from Skylinerw

The /testfor command doesn't support testing for offline players. Instead, you can use the new function within the /scoreboard command in 14w07a:

    /scoreboard players test <player> <objective> <min> <max>

If the player is a fake player, you prefix the <player> with the # symbol. For example:

    /scoreboard players test #fakeplayer testobjective 0 1234

The command block will output a signal if true, and no signal if false. So you can now finally test for fake player scores! The # symbol only prevents the fake player from being displayed on scoreboard displays, such as the sidebar. So it's not required if they don't exist on an objective has its display set to the sidebar.

Skyliner...are you going to give us a tutorial on these new commands??
Some of them make little sense to me...the adding of arithmetic to commands especially.

I think they need to add them. It would definitely make the new blocks more useful.

In creative mode, players can create a copy of a BlockEntity in their hotbar, including all NBT data, with ctrl+[PICK_KEY] (usually ctrl+middle mouse button)

This is a great thing...no more rewriting or copy and pasting 10 -100 things, just copy the command block. Thanks Mojang!
